No but why are you such a addicting youtuber. The editing 10/10 the thumbnail 10/10 the quality 10/10! You honestly motivate me to post. I literally LOVE your content
I really enjoy this video since it clearly describes what will happen if we leave many study tasks until the last minute of an exam. Thanks for sharing and hope you can pass your exams! I don't leave too many revision tasks until deadlines during the exam season and I am always keen on my revision work for my A Level exams, but I am also busy and struggling with Further Mathematics as it is hard to comprehend for me.
@@smb_09 I would choose the one you enjoy most, you’re spending 2 whole years studying it- there’s no point in doing that if your aren’t passionate about the subject
hiii sarah! i wanted to ask: 1. do you have certain revision methods that helped you get 9s in GCSES for certain subjects such as: - english language - english literature - maths - history - sciences and so on! if you can, please state the method (e.g. mind mapping, past papers) and what subject/subjects it worked best for (: 2. how many hours do you recommend studying a day? possibly for the subjects i have or just in general; for instance, i have 9 subjects which are: biology, chemistry, physics, english literature, english language, maths, history, spanish, media studies! 3. for history, is learning content more important or application? when i usually make notes for history, it’s quite a lot of overwhelming content, is it better to make some into just general questions or exam questions? (e.g. 8 markers, 4 markers, etc)
For history I went from a 5 to a 9 from end of year 10 to now (being a year 11 in the middle of gcses - just finished history today and omg what a relief but im actually sad cause i’ve worked so hard!) The only way i have learnt and improved is exam questions. You need to get into the habit of practicing the application of your knowledge and (in my exam board at least - eduquas) often there are more analysis marks than own knowledge marks! Practice is the key to success and obviously you need to know the own knowledge to do the questions but don’t stress if you don’t know it and you can do them with your textbooks open so you are practicing the writing rather than the knowledge and in doing so the knowledge kind of just “goes in” slowly! Exam questions are more my revision weeks ahead of the exam and then the own knowledge is the stuff i tend to do in the days/morning before the exam. Good luck and let me know if you want to know anything else! :)
Forgot to mention that you should do the past papers and then you can do the ones that your textbook or teachers have created. Obviously if a question has come up in previous years it most likely won’t turn up in that exact format/question but for the topics that are larger then it may appear in other question types! Also if your doing a breadth/development study you need lots of small pieces of information on almost everything and if it’s a depth study then you go into more detail!
igcse, tomorrow is maths paper 4 and physics alternative to practical paper 6, then im done, Sarah this is a lot of motivation, let's all grind brothers and sisters 💪
Thank you so much for such an amazing video~~ Really appreciate the fact that you did the filming even during exam period😢 ALL THE BEST for your results & uni applications! 🍀🍀 Actually I’m also an IB student studying in HK lol✨ so glad to have bumped into your channel~ (I’ll be taking the exam next year but I’m already stressing over it so much qwq) Congrats for completing the program🎉🎉 Good luck and take a good rest!!🤞🏻🤞🏻
Got my GCSE Geography and Physics paper on Monday. Wish everyone luck with their Physics. edit: i just realized tomorrow is maths p2 not physics! Ahhhhhhhhh
Amazing video loved it content is great I just revised maths and I'm year 11 student doing real gcse year 12 must be a conundrum 🤯 a levels hitting me next year oh no 😢
Hi! btw wanted to ask how you study with anki, because for me I would usually use anki for literal flashcards, but it seemed like you were writing some notes all over your book, so i got curiouss
May i ask whats ur reason for writing notes because for me notes just doesnt work as its useless so i just write flashcards straight of the source . Is that bad ?
Sarah can you give me some opinions pls?!!! Because I am from HK too and next yr I may come to UK to take Yr 11 , so do you think that after studying F4 in HK secondary school can handle all the stuff for GCSE in between 1 single yr? I am so stressed too recently……. Just always worried about that
hi! i’m not really the best person to ask for this- i think it’ll be quite a big work load to be honest but it depends on how many subjects you are planning on taking! good luck tho 🥰
Hey! great video! I just wanted to ask... Compared to the Igcse and what you are doing right now (not sure if I could consider it as As levels) is it hard, or difficult? Like honestly a few days ago I checked out a textbook, and I was so surprised that there was a topic for periods (if that's what it is really...)
Hii! I will take the IGCSE of October/November this year! I already have some summary notes for some subjects done, which I made a long time ago, so how do you recommend I use these in my favor, and hot to study smart?
Well I'm gonna give my igcse's in may/June but I recommend putting your flashcards next to your bad and go through them before you sleep/after you wake up. And for information that you really need to memorise I suggest sticking them on places you visit often such as your room door/front door and Reading them every time you pass by. Hope this helps
I find it hard to know what to write on to revise if you've got some tips pls helpppp I'm currently near the end of gcses so it still doesn't mean I can slack🥺🥺🥺😩😩😅
I know it seems like alot, but it would help me alot if you could share your findings about the past papers from all the subjects that you have collected, it would be a lifesaver for me if you could publish them online so that students like me dont have to go through 10 years of past papers for each subject
Hi Sarah, I'm hosting a webinar on 14th September to help students approaching their GCSE term. Having seen your TH-cam content I wanted to reach out and ask if you'd like to take part?

@@smb_09 I do actually, I'm thinking of taking French, Sociology, and RE/RS...you?
@@lilaloou so far I think I am going to pick Geography, food nutrition and PE however I’m debating whether to switch food nutrition with RE or not

i only make notes for history! when i write stuff down in my notebook it's usually when ii can't remember a certain fact/process/concept!
im in year 10 and i have just done my mocks and i was thinking on how to revise efficiently. What resourses do you use.
