I've already figured it out. the filter is made for a stable power supply for the camera. for that reason it is mounted directly between the reversing signal and the camera. a voltage dip or voltage peaks are thus absorbed.

+Parth Garg The monitor will switch to the image from the camera either via wire or via CAN (if the firmware version of the head unit allows it. You don't need to turn on anything in the head unit settings.

You dont need to connect the grey wire in the latest Menako firmware. However, this may vary depending on the firmware and its version. In order to know for sure you would need to contact the manufacturer of your firmware.

It all depends on the head unit software version. In newer version it's possible to remove the side panel.

I bought the cable adapter from you and managed to activate the camera function in Micom test menu. So the camera shows the picture in the monitor when I tested it with power.
I connected the camera to the cigarette lighter and the camera activation cable to the reversing light.
Does it sound like I connected it correctly? Because now I can’t get a picture😞 and there is no reaction on the monitor when I shift to reverse, or any gear.

Hello! "when I shift to reverse, or any gear" - it means that the camera output is not activated. Normally, if it is activated, even with a camera not connected, when you shift to reverse it should at least display a black screen

Switch the car to reverse and check whether the display changes. If it does not - it means you have to activate rear view camera functionality.

As far as we are concerned, Menarvus software should have a rear view camera functionality activation option. Therefore, the only thing left after installing this software should just be connecting the camera.

Usually, a dealer is able to activate a rear view camera input. Also, we are not dealing with firmware updates and activation, therefore we cannot provide a manual for this.

I had booked and expecting it next month. At that time, I'll enquire in Renault show room. I don't know why renault is providing this in kwid but instead they are busy in selling their reverse camera kit (worth 9k)

Rear view camera functionality can be activated by the dealer. Also, you can use any alternative software for activation, it will not affect the code.

In the video you're not plugging the REV wire anywhere but your screen still switch to rear camera view when you send R gear signal.
It means the Media Center gets the information that R gear is ON from one of the OEM 24 pin wires, right ?
So what is the REV wire for ?

It is not necessary to power up this cable in newer head unit software versions as activation goes via CAN.
Take + and - from the rear lamp or our cable if the wireless camera works with 6 V.

+Ad Stuurman There is no separate purple wire. There's a separate grey wire (shown at 1.05). Connect it to rear lamps or to the wire where +12V appear when the rear gear is turned on. This concernes the cases when the rear view camera is not activated by CAN.
If you mean another wire, please, make the photo.

As far as the wire is concerned: if the camera activation does not work via CAN (in the latest firmware of this HU it does work via CAN bus) then you need to use the grey wire. Here by activation we mean automatic display of the image from the rear view camera when the rear gear is on.
