Jitendra Darra Lead is not magnetic, but steel is. He loads the lead ball in first, and then slowly pushes the steel ball in. When the steel ball enters the magnetic field of the (very powerful) magnets, it gets pulled quickly into the middle of the field (which is about the middle of the tube) and launching the lead ball out the other end.
