Actually if you think about it....the magnet bricks are **holding onto** the projectiles, largely preventing them from just passing through like conventional building materials.
That's true so nobody inside would get hit but the walls are still caving in affecting the structural integrity (right? I'm no engineer)

Its difficult to make something crumble when it stays together. The magnet castle definitely would stay more intact longer than a small foam brick castle.

Just look at how much 216 magnets are. $25 USD for the 5 mm ones. With the amount this guy has? At 1:14 that stack on the floor comes to 384 magnets. The full tower (up to the where he puts the larger square in) comes out to 2688 magnets. There's 4 of these towers, so that's 10,752 magnets. Just those incomplete towers comes out to about 50 packs of the $25 USD magnets. That's $1,244 USD *just* for the towers (and not even the whole tower). And that's with the 5 mm magnets, if he used smaller ones then the cost would be higher. In the end I'm pretty sure most of the profit ended up covering the costs of the magnets.

That magnet castle building is basically an ASMR.
Perfect defence. When they shoot the wall, the cannonballs just become part of the wall. Even the balls who almost made it still got stuck in the wall.
This is more satisfying to watch than it probably should be...
