It's cool how the smaller magnets align themselves with the larger magnet's magnetic field lines. Especially the cube magnets.
The lines weren't there before the mass showed up. The lines are created by mass lining up their own reactions to a homogeneous field. Science draws lines on paper to illustrate the gradient of the field, but I don't believe the lines are actually there. Take a single magnet to another and find one yourself. It is completely smooth.
