Thank you very much. I try to be cognizant that for many of my viewers, English is not their first language. So I try to remember speak slowly and enunciate every word.
Welp, its about time I go fry up some herring fritters for the first time! Thanks for the suggestion. Polar kipper snacks is my favorite canned brand of smoked herring.
I love this wholesome content and accent. I'm thinking Scandinavian of some type? The egg is a nice idea. I recommend more like a hard-fry kai-jao (thai hard fry omelette), over rice and cucumber with fixings (onion etc) on the side. Or as I kept imagining some West Indian love connection for Mr. Middle-Age Scandinavian narrator where she cooks up some claasssic smoked herring trinidadian cuisine. I imagine there's pickled vegetables, stewed tomato and rice in that equation. There's a strange connection in food preference between N.Eastern Europe, West Indes, and E. Asia.
All three are types of smoked herring. Buckling is hot-smoked whole; bloaters are cold-smoked whole; kippers are split and gutted, and then cold-smoked.
are these hot or cold smoked? and why are they called kippers? is this a species or because they are smoked? i had the very small deboned smoked fillets i used to get many of them in a pack but they were very tough and dry and salty ,i recently just got two larger whole smoked herrings hoping the exp would be better and yes the flesh was more tender but way too salty ,idk if all of them are like this or it depends on the manufacturer, only way to eat em would be with lemon juice over slivers of red onions with pita bread, forget the crackers thats not satisfying only for cheddar cheese,,anyways cant say i like herring unless maybe i make it myself but i have had smoked black sable cod and rainbow trout and they were excellent specially the trout i could eat with a fork so easily
Pensador Realista You drag a red herring around to get your foe to follow a wrong track away from you. You just eat kippers..... According to the Oxford English Dictionary, a red herring may be intentional, or unintentional; it is not necessarily a conscious intent to mislead. The expression is mainly used to assert that an argument is not relevant to the issue being discussed.
Ooh. Those fritters. I can make a croquette out of them and add panko, with whatever spice you use. I use heroes de Provence, or 21 seasoning. Why such ominous music?
if your target audience is teenagers as you said then why are you suggesting beer? 00:39 then 4:46 are you trying to get kids interested in cooking so you can get them drunk and diddle them sir?
What a delightful video. Just what we need at this surreal moment in history.
Thank you Garry! Much appreciated!
You have a slow paced and beautiful voice sir and thanks for the lesson. Have a pleasant day

I really appreciated your video. My question to you is: What are the diferences between smoked hearing and Red hearing?
Thank you. I don't think there's a difference. Maybe a viewer can educate us both.
Thank you.
