You need to add archer posts and burning cauldrons. That will cut down the enemy numbers even more. I don't bother with pets as they will die. Also set all of you melee thralls to attack distance and chase distance to their lowest setting. That way if the enemy base spawns close to your door then they won't charge into the enemy camp and get surrounded and killed.

You're right though, chase distance needs to be updated for my people at the gates.
Currently, the only contact she can enlist is the sell sword guy, but you have to free him from a purge 1st. They plan to have others in the future. Also, & you probably already figured this out, you can put your thralls in any chair now.

The amount of cages change with each purge. One could have two while the next one could have 4. It's basically random as to how many cages. You can also place thralls now on the Siege Cauldrons to dump them for you.

Do lower level purges, say around level three, the barkeeper can spawn in any level purge but with a level three you get more cages and keys, 5 keys, so don't use them all, if you are lucky you can get some good thralls as well. I got the same dancer.......she turned into a beast and is my goto dancer now on Siptah.
Yeah I was surprised the 2 purges didn't have as many cages as before.
From what I remember Imiu of Derketo used to be pretty good, I'm looking forward to see how she turns out after investing in her a bit 😋
you can now put a thrall to man the Siege Cauldron now in chapter 3 so you don't need to do it yourself.. for me if i just want to get the barkeeper i'll just go out from your base and just build a coffer put in 1 gold and trigger a level 1 purge.. less stressful.. 😅
Oh nice! I also just found out it's not just the bar stools that you can place thralls, but all seats except beds 👍
Tavern a great addition to EL, I enjoy it, and good place to hire employees, the combat is bad, those fire orb throwers have homing orbs !, he tossed it better then a pitcher throwing a curve ball, they even moonwalk, good to see you back, I missed your face, good luck in 2024

I got a bar keep in Purge Tier 3 and up
I find the purge is way too easy, I've done more level 10 purges than I can count and I've only ever lost one.thrall. My thralls are all level 20 with gas masks. I stand on the roof of my base waiting for them to arrive and just fire gas arrows at them as they come out of their base, by the time they reach mine.they're either dead or almost and my thralls finish them off lol I rarely even see the guy that challenges you at the end, he's usually laying in a pile of bodies still in his base dead from gas. I use about 70 gas arrows per purge. It's rarely worth it, the loot you get is usually not worth it and the thralls are hit and miss on what you get. I unlock all the cages and end up deleting most of them usually. The purge could be fun but there's a lot of work to do on it in my opinion. First thing funcom needs to do is make it more challenging. Then give better loot so it's worth it.
Gas arrows are a must. I can clear a tier 10 purge without them though. Just like 10 max level thrall and some archers
I think I'll back up the game and activate a 10 just to see how it comes out lol. For my own personal morbid curiosity 😆
@@RoverNaut I have sniper towers to agro them. The trick really is to break up the mobs. If the stygians (spear one’s) surround any of you it’s over. Keep the chase distance low to keep them at their post after a wave. Thrall pot full of food helps.

I was able to hire 2 Liams from my bar, ive seen del...but shes not wanted to talk to me, so she must still be mad at me for the volcano thing in exile lands, as im on siptah right now, it wasent my fault she was sparta kicked into the lava when she got in my way of doing it to a snake guy while i was corrupted build str lmao
