That's true, the armor has been there for a little bit but I never played around with it so, it's new to me kinda 😋. I was just happy that Barry didn't go crazy at the khitan camp because I remember back in age of sorcery on the siptah map, thralls would easily freak out. I'm not sure if they tweaked it, but you used to not be able to get anywhere close. If my memory isn't being paste right now lol.

Thanks, and yeah I'm learning about the lady actually giving good info. Usually NPC's wax on and on about their personal struggles/story. I will go back and listen to her this time 😅. It figures the one time I don't feel like listening is when it's important lol

@@RoverNaut I know, 99% of the NPC dialogue in the game is lore/waffle but this one does actually explain stuff to you. Or you could watch a TH-cam video on it 😉😁

I remember seeing something about this game a couple years ago and then it went silent for a while. Had no idea it was coming out in a couple days lol. It does look cool, kinda like Conan but in ancient China. I might check it out, just not sure exactly when because I have Conan, Palworld, and soon Enshrouded on the channel 😅 I'm gonna gauge Palworld and Enshrouded for a few episodes and see where they land, and go from there. I was gonna bring Sengoku Dynasty back, but it's so slow paced that it's hard to make content on it.

Yeah, I did some looking after the video and that's pretty much what I found too. It's a shame that they took that route, but I guess if that's their plan for the weapon. Feel like it squanders a little bit of an opportunity but there are other weapons.

@@RoverNaut most corrupting weapons are useless on thralls.. same goes with those legendaries with the predatory perk as thralls tends to performs a lot of heavy attack which doesn't do any damage if the weapons comes with the predatory perk.. i guess the blackheart weapons are for people who want to instantly get a high level of corruption in order to perform some of those sorcery spells..

Wow the predatory ones don't work either? I'm gonna have to check my thralls now because I think a few of them might have some with that 😕 I wish that the game would allow anyone to use anything. I read that thralls can't use the sword of crom, which is dumb because if thralls have that, then the player is cheating anyway, so they should just let the player have fun and play the way they want to.

@@RoverNaut sword of crom is useless i got tons of that sword since it's freaking easy to get one in savage wilds.. first thrall can't use it.. then if players want to use it.. it will drain all of your stamina unless you max out your agility perk and get the rolling thrust perk which whenever you performed a roll then your next attack cost no stamina.. so roll like an idiot.. then if a player want to use that stupid sword it's durability is just rubbish.. i think it's only have 450 durability.. 😅

Savage Wilds is my next map location after I've rounded up in Exiled Lands.

I used to play Ark years back, but I think I kind of burned myself out on it 😅 I have some 7 Days to Die videos on my patreon, but I haven't decided if I'm going to start anything for that on the channel or not.

I think it might be the predatory effect on the weapon. There is no heavy attack damage, but it does increase light attack damage.

Yeah there's quite a few things that I'm not a fan of that they've done with Age of War. I think that they got several things right, or at least hitting in the right direction, but it just seems like it just falls short. I could be being picky, but I've seen so many other games do better or follow through better. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy playing, but certain aspects of the current chapter are just disappointing to me. I also feel that the siege stuff is just more geared towards multiplayer. While Conan does have a single player option, the game is pretty much designed to be multiplayer. I do like the idea of playing with a bunch of people, but I also like the idea of not having to. They should have some coding in there somewhere that tones the game down if you're playing in single player mode. Other games already do stuff like this, so it's possible at least 🤷

@@RoverNaut The base principle of that siege event is good but as always with Funcom it comes unbalanced and the solo players who are probably the majority of players from what i see on youtube are left on the side of the road. They are absolutely disconected from the player base and do stupid things. I hate the new combat system, with a short sword now it's really hard to hit the target if you dont lock it and i never lock it because it's even worse this way. Well it's ok for a new player with a controler, you lock and hit, but for an old experienced player like me it's a pain in the ass. It makes the game slow and annoying to play, i love to be very fast with hitting and doge but now i have a lot of difficulty to hit something, if you are not perfectly aligned you miss and turning the view with the mouse during the attack doesn't redirect the weapon direction. And sometimes my character stays in the attack direction and walk backwards just as if i had locked it on the target. The bar is a nice feature and the ability to place your thralls in guard or on a seat is cool, unfortunately the animations are very poor and seing a bunch of thrall sitting on a bench or a chair doing absolutely nothing is weird. I hope they will add some animations to make this more realistic. On bar stool they drink and talk and it's nice why not on the other seats or guard positions.

Haha I understand. I think the art style is pretty good for what it is, but I'd be super interested if they had something like a monster hunter type art style, with a play style that's like this. Lol thanks for the support and no worries, Conan isn't going anywhere 👍
