I like those days honestly! This one could have used tad more action and sized though. Think everyone that day was grateful of Lea's actual decent sized Bass. Thanks for spending time with us David... also great hearing what you've to say as well. Psst... next upcoming video (think it's the next one) caught a New Species of fish we've never caught before. No it's not large Striper size, still. Never caught one!
@@davidgarcia9808 Right on David. Oddly we're hoping one of you realizes what type of fish it is. Actually there were 2 that were caught both are NEW species to us. Well... of a known family tree member. While one looks cool, the other to me is STUNNING! Not sure but thinking it MAYBE the species I've been hunting for 5 years. Chances are it's not :( Welp back to working on the video(s).... Ken
Yeah, we were actually all thankful that Lea decided to toss out a Drop Shot with a Senko. When she said fish on, figured 8 out of 10 it was a Bass. Also figured that's what caught you're attention heh. I'll try to free some time by Sunday to watch a few of your recent vids. We simply still been that busy. At times questioning if we can even continue the channel. Outside of that good to hear from you! Ken & Lea
Yeah personally enjoyed the day! Few different types of fish! Wonder... outside of fish we normally pull from the Delta what other "Rare" types of fish are in there? Waiting of the day we pull up another Warmouth or Green Sunfish! Lea's Bass surely a bonus! Thanks again Rick & Alex for taking us to your spot there. Ken & Lea
Fairly sure I'm with you on that. Like with Red Ear and some other of the Sunfish/Panfish family tree many generalize them as Bluegill. Many seem to do the same with Bass. Personally (this is Ken) I've learned to ID LMB, Spotted Bass & Small Mouth. My personal stumbling block has to be Catfish. I've no idea which type we pull up. Going back to some of our other vids. Think I MAY know the Channel Cat. Still not certain. We don't try to target them often so is that. Thanks for the heads up! Hope you're enjoying the vids! Ken & Lea
On a side note that same location was a bit more active a few before this day. So when it was showing signs of a struggle Lea said "that's it, I'm casting a Bass pole out" Think it was like her 3rd cast. We were all pleased to see it on the board. Then the Senko's went dead heh.
That sure looked like the lathrop area. I always wanted to come down there but with the same results I get in sac also its hard to make the 1 hr drive there for the same results.
I hear you. Though I figure this spot (as well as most spots) will pick up at times. I'd recon it has it's time to shine. Not sure this was the day lol. We were all pleased for that healthy Bass! Good ol Senko on a Drop Shot. Finding really sweet shore spots not so easy in Cali heh. Tight lines boss, hope you enjoyed the video! P.S. not to intrude but what you been targeting as of late? Wondering myself for our next few... Ken & Lea
@@hershisadventuresincalifor9725 i mostly have been striper fishing and doing challenges with different baits. Suprising hard to find the dinks on the sac river to test the bait had to go to cats for the challenge
@@HangNFish Right on for the Striper fishing! Oddly I grew up hunting first as the only hobby my father did was hunting, with some fishing. I started hunting at 8 years old. Few years later started fishing. Later I personally picked up roughly 25-30 other hobbies. With fishing... well it bores me easy! So... I tend to favor the "Action Fishing". So Sunfish/Panfish and Striper are my two favorites to target. Recon it's the schooling effect. Even they at times can end with no action days. Sighs.... So I do love my Snow Skiing & Auto Racing as well as some others. As they always provide action. But.... when you get a sweet fish battle! Wow, it is indeed a rush! (so is dodging between two trees snow skiing at 40mph) You mainly tossing Lures or Baits? For us often baits hit more, even more so when the baits are active becomes hard to cast out the lures... sighs. Btw LOVE the different bait challenge idea! We've been meaning to do so also! Ken & Lea (p.s. sorry for this delayed response, oddly we just noticed the comment)
Always fun to catch a mix bag of fish. Nice video thanks Ken.
