I am a bit confused how it’d work, but they could retcon some of the Jaegar backstory and make them a Monarch or APEX creation (tying in the cybernetics of the show) It would make no sense to me that all of earths titans wouldn’t immediately throw hands at any of the pacific rim Kaiju, none of them could claim alpha status and all of them bring imbalance since they’re (spoiler for PR1) alien weapons sent through portals. An alternative could be; what if the PR aliens were able to take a Gojira to their home planet… with a different kind of radiation, could they be how Space Godzilla is made…? Many routes they could take.

I wonder how the actual movie plot would go since both protect humanity. Would the jaegers attack them thinking they attack humans?
