The one from King of the Monsters and Godzilla vs. Kong. Such a perfect balance of keeping the established look intact while also bringing it closer to being like a Toho Godzilla.

As a dedicated Godzilla fan, I can’t decide which one I like most, because I like them all.
To me, it shows how Godzilla is adapting as he gets bigger, an indication that he’s been learning from his past battles.
In the monsterverse KOTM is the best one

I agree,I'm also a big Godzilla fan so no matter how Godzilla evolve on improvement I like it all and don't have a favorite,but I am looking forward seeing Godzilla & Kong join force.
Also, as his villians become stronger and bigger, eventually, destoroyah.
2014’s design will always be my favorite Monsterverse look. The spike-like plates and sharp tail really complemented eachother and his fiery atomic breath was super cool.
Plus, his head was proportioned just right. It looks small in Kotm and GvK.
G14 had the coolest design compared to the other MV goji designs. It brings back nostalgia and it reminded me of the millennium goji's design.
His fiery atomic breath was his first time using it meaning as he grows and becomes more stronger, Godzilla's atomic breath gets more focused and concentrated from a flame like breath to an actual laser

yeah, to me the straight dorsal plate was the "americanize" of godzilla, the KOTM spike is very close to TOHO's design which at this point is already tiring, I mean look at zilla in the 1998, one straight spike pointing forward.
@@tristanbartolome2840 How are the classic dorsal plates tiring when that's a staple part of any godzilla design?. That's like saying his atomic breath being blue is tiring. Zilla didn't even try to have dorsal plates that remotely resembled anything close to the classic dorsal plate shape. G14 had new dorsal plates but they had a familiar but jagged look to them
For me, the kotm design is my favorite. The overall more muscular look and the toho inspired dorsal plates really nail it for me. I still remember losing my mind seeing the design back when the first trailer was released. But I can't deny the 2014 look is iconic and is the staple of the monsterverse.

Love them all but honestly the first one is my favourite. Jagged dorsal fins, a stony croc armour look, head appears bit bigger and the muted colours so much more realistic, i could actually imagine this happening in real life.
I love evolved Godzilla, I love the jagged dorsal plates I love how he looks muscular! I’m just blown away, he’s fucking 400 ft tall! He’s huge and I love it!
I like 2024 Godzilla's spikey design, reminds me of a bearded dragon.
Same it feels like a natural step in progression for him too. Especially after he got his ass whooped by Mecha.

Pinkzilla with the wder shoulders, toned mid-section, longer and more buffed set of arms, leaner heavier, aesthetically connotes power, speed and agility. Im going with latest Godzilla iteration.

Awesome video and animations, I love all the models designs for the Monsterverse Godzilla, I still think is my favorite Goji design overall, man is kinda crazy to think that the Monsterverse outlasted the DCEU, the Amazing Spiderman verse, The Jurassic World series and if keep going strong, probably the MCU. Kaiju fans need to rejoice with this new era of both Legendary and Toho giving us bangers after bangers.

I was a little kid when i first watched Godzilla and the mutos attack on San Francisco I was a very big Godzilla fan ever since the 2012 trailer
I’m 17 now and I still look back on those mutos it’s crazy idek how to explain on how much happened over time 😭
2021 is probbably my favourite but 2nd goes to 2024 it looks amazing
I absolutely love how Monarch showed the gradual changes in the big G. That show could have so easily just did what something like Halo did and had the 2019 design and retconned everything, but the fact that they go out of there way to have 3 different models of Godzilla is absolutely stunning and really shows how dedicated the team were to the franchise.
I like the way he's evolving. All of his looks are badass, but I'm liking the more muscular tone, extra areas glowing and additional spikes. I like how he continues to learn from the past and become larger, more efficient and better skilled fighter/protector.
Finally he is over 400ft tall....took 10 years

I love Godzilla Minus One, and I've also come to accept that my boi Legendary Godzilla has been relegated to Wrestler instead of anything deep. But he is still my favorite Godzilla design of all time.

Am I the only one who didn't realize that Godzilla's dorsal plates were so much smaller in Monarch: Legacy of Monsters? I thought I may have noticed something smaller about the plates, but I just assumed it was perspective. Also, this video cemented the new, evolved Godzilla as my favorite Monsterverse design.
Given mixed responses here on Goji 2024, I suppose what was appreciated about the MV Godzilla was that each director who evolved the character did so in a way that felt like a natural evolution. Increments.
Gareth made a primordial/Nature forged Godzilla - designed with the idea that it could have been what inspired Toho's Godzilla and their films.
Dougherty built upon that - taking literal aspects of Toho's Godzilla and adding them. All while adding a more muscular form with predator attributes.
Wingard's Godzilla looks to give him different spines, a unique and stand-out crown on his head, spiked elbows, spiked tail, and different colors for the spines.
And more noted on - while Godzilla is still muscular, he is much slimmer.
I'm thinking of it now. Yeah, increments are the key. Wingard could have given the MV Godzilla his new crown, his new spines, elbow spikes, and new atomic color. And that would have been enough - because that would feel like a natural evolution, and not what some fans may feel is an overhaul.

I liked the 2014 version the most. Can't say I'm a huge fan of the longer arms on the new Godzilla. Throws the monster look off a bit by giving him more human proportions.

Oh wow I Did not expect the Huge difference between The dorsal spines on the 2015 monarch design and the KOTM Design
My thoughts for the in-universe reason that Godzilla's tail was rounded out between the events of 2014 and Legacy of monsters, was that when he tail whipped the Male MUTO into the building, the impact was so severe it damaged the end of his tail causing it heal back shorter and more robust.

Is it just me, or does anyone else think that the 2024 design seems to evoke a Millenium Godzilla feel?
I also have a theory that if Godzilla gained his evolved form by taking in a whole bunch of radiation at once, maybe we could see some Shin Godzilla-esque abilities in the next one.

for me, it's a toss up between Godzilla EVO and Godzilla Vs. Kong, those two are my favourites. Also, your animations of all the different Godzilla forms is easily the best i've seen yet and i decided to subscribe to your channel. Fun Fact: i just got the PVC figure of Godzilla from the Godzilla Vs. Kong movie by Hiya Toys, from their Stylist series so, when you showed that version of Godzilla, i could hold up my figure of Godzilla and see a comparison of the animated vs the " real " version ( PVC real, of course ). Also, could you do a video on the 1998 Godzilla from Tri-Star Pictures and show the pros and cons of that Godzilla's design and how it would fare in the Monsterverse? that would be an epic video.

Great monster-verse fan since 2014 I love this Godzilla and i can’t believe it’s been a decade now I absolutely love godzilla even tho I’ve been a Godzilla fan since 2012 or maybe 2010 but honestly I have came this far to finally see the new Godzilla and kong film I’m so excited to see the new movie 👑👑🥳🥳

Personally, I like the 2014 design and never had any asinine complaints about it, he looked exactly like a real-life animal/monster and not the charming Guy-in-Suit. However, I really do like the KotM/GvK design the best. While I still need to see how the GxK design looks on the big screen and in action, my first impressions of the evolved look are a bit split. I don't mind the pink color or glow to his dorsal spines, but I do think the constant glowing is a little too much. His spines glowing is an indicator that Godzilla is charging up and using his Atomic Breath or being used as an intimidation tactic, which is all you really need. Plus, the elbow spikes and even more dorsal plates just feels too much like bad fan-boy over-kill. As I said, I really need to see how these plays on the screen and in the story before I pass any serious judgments.

KOTM’s design is my favourite. The bulkiness of it and his larger dorsals (thought they were too small in G14’s design)
I have no problem with Evolved G’s pink, only issue is that Godzilla is too thin

Wait a minute, The Dorsal Plates were taken off and it started regrowing, That's why his dorsal plates are less sharp in KOTM. I liked his sharp dorsal plates. Curse you Muto Prime.

I don't know about you, but if the Godzilla movies continue the way they are, it's possible that his dorsal plates will get bigger, his new spines will get bigger and more aggressive, not to mention that he could end up growing dorsal plates in his chest and thighs act as bony armor for defense and protection and he can eventually reach a height of 152 meters.

Every time I see pink Godzilla I love it more. So spiky and monstrous!
I bet that they’ll keep the design just bone back up the dorsal plates and extra spikes but the design all around will stay as it is and then we will get the blue hue back prolly but depends on who ever has hands on Godzilla next but yeah that would be the move that would make more sense
If the 2024 design is close to accurate - that somehow means, the new spikes on the face of godzilla might be inspired by godzilla earth’s design. Hopefully we get a more detailed look of the new form soon.

One thing that I wish they would do is to make Godzilla's head bigger. In the most recent image of Godzilla and Kong it really looks too small. They could tweak it some and it wouldn't be a big jarring change.
