Frederic Rzewski - 'The People United Will Never Be Defeated'

Live performance at UConn, Storrs, CT, October 31st, 2018, Frederic's last performance of his own monumental composition in the US.
Recorded with OnePlus 3 mobile phone as video source and as audio source for ambience. Main microphones were tiny stereo capsules to a Tascam DR-05 fixed to the stage floor about 2m away from the piano. No post-processing on any source, just mixing those for a decent audio to the video; synchronization and editing thanks to ffmpeg.

It was the best I could do at this point, very improvised. Audio comes from a pair of tiny dynamic capsules taped to the stage floor and the camera audio added as ambient sound. His Frankfurt performance was a lot better, unfortunately I cut his head off in that video. Fred laughed at it, but he was happy with the piano and the audio.
