and that tidbit with the complete.open.game on social media to connect a little more personally because none of the libraries are inundated on these platforms, is a great one. I know trevor touched on that months ago
What a great video! Thank you, Jesse, for bringing the voice and opinion of the "other side" to your free youtube channel. Much to learn here! And of course thanks to Trevor too :)
Great info. I'm a bit confused though on non exclusive taking your track and renaming it and claiming it for their own. Doesn't copyright protect the writer and is it infringement?
They're not claiming it for their own in terms of copyright - they're claiming in terms of "we are the ones who REPRESENT that track so we should get the sync fees for it!" It's about who distributes the tracks, not who owns them.
For producing and mixing & mastering does this need to been done on a Logic Pro or Protools Mac setup or would a hard drive/ mixer Roland 1680 do the job ? Unsure if a Roland 1680 would be just 'not up to Industry standard? Any comments ?
Great questions!!!! 👍
Priceless info
Always such great info, love when you 2 get together and reinforce approach. Thanks guys!!
Another great video from Sync Academy,. Subject matter experts that love to mentor in the music licensing business. Thanks, Jesse and Trevor.

As long as the end product sounds like your reference, it doesn't matter how you got there
Fingerprinting or Watermarking technology for identifying your track
Watermarking! That was the term I was trying to remember lol
No problem....Trevor...enjoyed the info you had to share....
