    What a cold and soulless place the main hangers look at RAF Hendon today.
    The much loved Battle of Britain hall closed and the aircraft just chucked in with the rest of the planes.

      I kind of agree. It was much more exciting back in 2008. When I get home I am going to check my old photos and see what is missing. The Me-262 was my biggest miss this time.:-(

      I think it also had a Roc that I don't remember seeing.

      Where has the Me 262 gone ? I know the sole surviving RAF Typhoon went to Canada on loan and the sole surviving RAF Boulton-Paul Defiant nightfighter went to Cosford I think?@@glennalderton

      Good question, I didn't notice it was gone till I got to Hangar 6 where it used to. The Defient may be what I was thinking, not the Roc

      262 according to Google has gone to Cosford.

    Bf110 with AN2 Radar and Shrage musik probably destroyed 1500 Lancasters. A terrible toll.

    I wonder why the bomb rack on the 110. Surely not used on ops..

      I think those are extra fuel tanks.
