Browed through from the start to here, it's number 1 in a series playing the limits I'm at. Let's se how we go. Might dip back into the podcasts if I'm not learning here because I missed too much early information.
Ah ok. I was right. You are already talking about overfolding and bluff catchers and polarised ranges. Back to thedrawing board then!

    18 mins mark 87s hand:
I thought when we face a X/R flop, X turn line from the OOP, we mostly want to block turn IP? However you chose the overbet size, which is very uncommon in these spots (however it is GTO approved as I have just checked). How do we decide if we want to block IP vs Overbet IP when villain X/R flop and X turn to us? Do you have some general heuristics?
I guess in this spot we choose to overbet instead of block with the majority of our range because villian has some X/R bluffs that connected with the T well and have picked up some showdown value and additional equity so that a small bet is inefficient as it doesn't make those hands indifferent? Also villain is likely check raising some Kx that mostly have a gutshot and most of the time checking the turn? In general I think villian's checking range gets a bit more condensed and less polarized on the turn, which leads us to having a more polarized turn betting strategy instead? (I am just taking my best guess XD.)
    Thanks. Great video as usual!

Villain's flop X/R is a little weird. It puts them on really strong made hands like two pair or sets, weak made hands playing exploititavely like a mediocre top pair, and a few bluffs like gutshots. The turn brings in the straight draw and they check. Small bet, huge bet, doesn't matter on Hero's part because Villain will always raise with the nuts and a lot of Hero's range just got stronger. The parts that don't, like the Ace high backdoor flush draw just unlocked more outs. If Villain was ahead on the flop, they think they're no longer ahead on the turn (unless they have AQ), and if they were bluff checkraising the flop, they KNOW they're behind now. Check raise only to check the turn would be brutal if they had AQ fs; that's really sneaky. But usually, when someone check-raises and gets called, they usually double barrel when ahead, so their check back range on turn was not nearly strong enough to resist a probe, let alone an overbet.

Out of interest, what do you think about shoving river after he bets half pot on the river as an explosive bluff. He seems pretty capped to one pair hands here, and I think we have all the KJ, sets etc in our range that would fold out his ‘value’ bet

Love the content! Gonna try and grind up some money so I can buy the Carrot Poker school. Like you said just watching video after video of content is a lot to digest and be able to use in an effective way.
I come away overwhelmed and more confused. Loving the losing to cruising series too! I’m currently on the opposite path. Went from up 1000 BB over 20k hands to down 1100 over my next 3k 😂. Just awful

My few cents: sizings and timings are very exploitative player dependent thing, in my shoes, I always overthink it but I think that is a way to go.
We bet 44 on 3-flush turn anyway, but I never put opponents range having no flushes, if no 100% history/read/tendency. If player is unknown and he is 50bb deep eff, he can also have slowplayed nutty range preflop as overpairs + top suited range.
Same with sizings: If someone ch-raising flop SB v MP whatever, and downsize turn, if he uses "wrong size", again first variable for me is "who is that player and what he capable to do", so after, we do some assumptions/confirmation about his range being mergy/balanced/whatever.
But that is how I like to solve it.
Obviously my words make less sense in big zoom player pools.
Nice video , very satisfied / enjoyed looking it in the morning today.

I think your dance to poker ratio needs to be slightly more balanced. Maybe closer to 2:1. Let me know if you need help starting an OFs.

Top tip for playing these games .Don't play them they are raked to fuck .Variance is unbelievable and regardless if you are a winning player you will lose or at best make so little I can assure you you have better things in live more positive. This clown is talking about recreational players at 5 nl.On the back side of this he and all the coaches on TH-cam are selling sit coaching that will at best get you to waste your life for very little .All the top players have tried at these levels and got smash .If they can't get it to add up what chance do you .If that is not evidence then you deserve to do your money .
