- This is my review of the Dreamgear gamer V portable my arcade device with 220 games on it. My review is in the first 5 minutes the rest of the video is about 5 seconds of game play from each game. Enjoy!

I've beaten 3 games and got it just yesterday really fun I recommend it
Yes me too I have the data East version but it has all the same games just 8 more data East games and a galaxy color but basically it’s exactly the same but it has games like bad dudes breakthrough caveman ninja heavy Barrel side pocket b wings karate champ And Burger Time that’s all eight games over than the 220

When I was a kid, shit like this was always over 100 dollars. My grandma would only buy me those tiger handhelds back in the day for as much as that gaming arcade thing you demonstrated. Lucky young whippersnapper bastards got it so good these days.

I really sorta figured that I might just get this for myself one of these upcoming games, I've always been a big fan of retro arcades anyways. But I guess it's always nice to watch a review on these type of things before I buy them so I get a general idea of what I'm purchasing. If I didn't find out about this, I would've bought a phone case. Great review btw.

Got mine a couple of days ago at cvs. So far it’s been surprisingly fun. I like it
A store was going out of business. So i decided to pay a visit yesterday, and snagged this, and all the other one's including the plug n plays and the little mames for dirt cheap. I'm talking $2.75 - $4.50 a piece. I was up for hour's playing the mame for hour's. I enjoyed it.
Mr 617 I just got one for cheap too. The store I work for marked it down to 12 bucks, we got a 10 gift card and a 20% off coupon. I paid 86 cents for it! Glad Im not the only one who got a great deal on this.
I got mine in cvs the store only for 11$ and I love it!!!!!!
The only reason I'd play this is at school If I'm bored and done with my school work it's better just to use your phone but if I lose a cheap device instead of my phone then that's worth it

and I can download one game on my cellphone for free

Got it for 20. Its a good system. I really enjoy playing new retro 8bit games.
i use it for my kenma cosplay and i use it for school when i’m waiting for home room! it’s a great mini console for 20 dollars!
i had this since around 2016 or 2017 and it still works today, just some minor red lines on the screen.

Sounds like you're in a bowling alley (the ambient sounds not coming from the game and from the back of the pin setter).
I see a future where console games like this are sold but the purchaser gets to tell the seller what games they want on there. Like for me it would be turn-based, puzzle, board, card, strategy, RPG, and thinking all the way.

I had one of these and hexapod war was my FAVORITE. Sadly the batteries in mine exploded and I had to throw it away. I'd totally buy another one of these again tho! They're fun to have if you have nothing better to do
You can replace the batterys

Edgar Perez I have one its not that bad. You have some games on their that alot like the name brand and some not but I still will recommend it. That away you don't have to risk getting your 3d ds stolen or if it's storming you can play that instead of risking your ds getting struck by lighting while charging it. Thank about it.
The music on game n°57 is ripped off straight from Taito's Don Doko Don 2, a Famicom game.

Ladderthief1 get it so you don't have to take your 3d ds out and it get stolen I have both and I take the cheaper one out with me instead of the 3d ds. Those dses are to expensive to have them get stolen or ruin.

I assume you're kidding, but I was thinking it WOULD be a good choice. The games are so simple that you don't need instructions. I guess that is the point of this unit.

Is there at least one redeeming game on here? The old version seemed to at least have a few hacked versions of actual games like donkey kong 3.
Looks like only 3 games look ok after that it looks repetitive. Sucks that you need to use batteries instead of a charging port I would rather just download games off the phone

They got em here now at Walmart and i was wondering about them. Hell of a lot better than them Tiger games i used to get as a kid. Seems like a decent little rig in fact. Was wondering what type of retro games and if anything commercial showed up. But the knock offs are similar enough to entertain at least while riding in the car or something.

Pushing A+B+START while on the main menu or starting up will take you into checksum. I got mine for free.

@@nflimitless You can probably take it apart and pull out the lcd ribbon and clean it with a microfiber towel then reinsert it and fix the screen. Not guaranteed but that sounds like the problem. Just be sure not to lose any of the buttons in the process cause they will probably try to fall out of place. Worth a try. It does make sound right?

With an eBay coupon I had, along with an offer I made to a seller, I just bought one for $3.50. Say what you will, but where else will you find "Repair Urgently", "Violent Chasing" and "Mirror Devil World"?
You need to scroll through so many crappy games to get to a few fair ones buried half way through. When you exit a game, you start back at position 1. This makes trying all the games a chore.

It messing up it could most likely be because you aren’t using high drain batteries/alkaline.

Maybe you used the sound too much and the screen would black out, use batteries. Or check the batteries if it spilled.

Got it at CVS I like retro games so I thought it would be a fun time killer and it is a time killer (got it for 19.99) they have the basic 8bit games with different names of course like snake but it's called greedy but yeah! Overall underwhelming but would be good for plane rides
