The problem I had was I was recording a presentation in Zoom, and half-way through it stopped picking up my headset microphone and reverted to the built-in laptop mic. I looked at the audio setting you mention, and it somehow had changed the setting to specify the built-in mic.

Please help me out. Just after recent windows update i am facing this unique problem. I usually use bluetooth earphone for listening in zoom and connect external fifine usb microphone for speaking. But recently whenever i choose the bluetooth earphone inbuilt mic or fifine mic i get disconnected to audio (i.e. i stop hearing the voice of speakers in zoom) then i choose same as system which as per my testing chooses inbuilt laptop amd microphone and not the earphone or external mic. To have better sound clarity for the listeners, I purchased a lavalier microphone. Now when I connect my lavalier microphone, the laptop speakers are not producing the voice output, but the voice input is proper from my lavalier microphone. I have unique problem for you. My external mic is working. However, ever since the first update roll outs on Zoom in December, 2020 and up until now, my microphones has been distorting and deepening our voices. It works fine win I unplug the mics and use the computers default mic. I can't figure how or why this is happening. I have this Samson Go Mic and Samson Q2U mic since April of 2020 and all was working flawlessly up until the December 2020 updates. This first happened on my Surface Pro 3 Windows 8.1 OS and now on my SP 7 Windows 10 OS. Have you heard of this happening? Do you think you can help me solve this unique problem? Make sur ein zoom that you have turned on the mic and selected the right mic device (like mentioned in the video). Also, watch the video on mic problem on windows 10 and check if something in that video will help you solve the prob!

I am facing zoom speaker problem. it was working perfectly fine but suddenly during a meeting the speaker stopped working, i connected my Huawei ear buds via Bluetooth to the laptop changed my speaker in the zoom and it started working but very next day during the meeting earbuds also stopped working, zoom participants could hear me but I was unable to hear them. zoom is detecting my speakers but when I test the speakers there is no sound. Hey in the list of allow apps to use your microphone, I don't have zoom app on the list and also in the control panel i'm not able to find the correct microphone,please help
No problem in the list. I think it is more of a windows prob than a zoom one so check my other video on microphone prob on windows since you cannot find it in control panel.

Hello!. Thank you so much for your help. I fixed an issue that I had since three days ago. I tried almost everything but thanks God I found your tutorial video. My issue was: a message popped up "Failed to detect your microphone. Please make sure your microphone is properly connected". I went to Microsoft's settings and then to Microphone private settings and I gave permission to Zoom to access my computer's phone. Thank you, thank you.....you made my day!!!!!!

URGENT PLEASE HELP! I am facing zoom speaker problem. it was working perfectly fine but suddenly during a meeting the speaker stopped working, i connected my Huawei ear buds via Bluetooth to the laptop changed my speaker in the zoom and it started working but very next day during the meeting earbuds also stopped working, zoom participants could hear me but I was unable to hear them. zoom is detecting my speakers but when I test the speakers there is no sound. All of the speakers laptop in built Realtek and my two earbuds Huawei and Samsung are working perfectly on laptop each every thing is being played and i can hear the laptop test sound also. kindly help me I am an educator and i have daily sessions on Zoom. I have tried everything uninstall the zoom and installed again but no gain have uninstalled the sound drivers from laptop re- installed them but nothing. Please help.

thank u so much for the video but i have a problem , i joined a meeting today but i couldn't hear the teacher's voice i tried to see if there was something wrong with the headset but it wasn't , i tried the audio check in zoom and i heard the ringtone i reopened the meeting several times on my phone and my laptop but still the same problem and i found out after that , that i am the only one who had this problem , please if you know the solution to this problem please tell me and thank you!!
