    Probably saves him money because he uses it for pho soup. The thinner the slice the faster it cooks in the pho

      Yes! It can be used for pho. I use the sliced meat for shabu-shabu.

    kws is better than your beswood for only 30$ more. 320w lvs 240 watt, stainlesssteel blade vs chromium plated. plus blade screws are slightly easier to remove in kws for cleaning

    • @BeatTheBush
      @BeatTheBush  ปีที่แล้ว

      I think this needs a side by side comparison. 240W btw is enough as I have not needed more power for cutting frozen meat.

      I used to work at a pizza place where we would slice meats and vegetables with a machine similar to this. There is actually a whetstone attached to them so that you can sharpen the blades yourself pretty easily. We would sharpen our machine before every use.

      They take a few minutes to take apart. Often it doesn't feel worth the time investment of cleaning unless you do a lot at once. I love mine and have cleaned it enough to get mine apart, washed, and put back together in under 30 mins, but you're looking at a 30 min investment in cleaning.

    • @williamzhang7083
      @williamzhang7083 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      slicing meat like that is usually for foods like hot pot or korean-style bbq where the meat should be cut thinner than you could/want to do by hand. freezing the meat and using a slicer will give you that thinness (honestly the thickness in the video is still a bit thicker than i like). the butcher at asian grocery stores will have a slicer like this but of course you pay the store a premium for this service (a few dollars per pound more). so if you eat hot pot a lot you save money by slicing at home

    Maybe you non meat eating people ought to look at Dr. Ken Berry, Dr. Shawn Baker etc. about carnivore diets before you tell someone to stop eating meat. He looks healthy to me a lot of carbs are not good for you and meat doesn’t have carbs. Maybe he is making meat chips which are healthier than potato chips. You might want to research it for yourself but just remember if you are having trouble with high blood pressure or diabetes who is making money off of your illness…think they want to get you better and lose money?
