@@JM-AUTO Doing work for my neighbor. Got the door panel off with ease( thank you). However had a good bit of difficulty get the window SW connector back on the SW. A black tab of some sort inside the connector.was in the way. Had to work it out of the way to get the connector in the SW. Somehow I feel I'm missing something. Any advice would be helpful. Still have to put the regulator in. Again great video.
Hey JM, I just changed the regulator and motor. I had the two bolts in to hold the window then realized the window wasn't in the track 😅. I got it all worked out and the window is working like it is supposed to. Thanks again. Matt
Thanks for this very informative video, I used it as a guide to replace the motor only, drivers side 2003 Camry. My only issue was reinstalling the door panel rubber glass wiper side. It was a pain to get it to drop in place.
Great video! My driver side is struggling to close the window in the summer and almost non working in the winter. Where did you get the regulator? Would it be difficult to change just the motor? The cost of the whole regulator and motor, used or new, is high for me. Thank you!
Good content! - Do you have a video that shows replacing the motor on the existing regulator? and does it have to be in the same position? does it need to be powered to move it? - my 2003 has a stuck OPEN window!
in some cases you need to move the motor in other words apply 12v but some times you dont need to do that but in most of the cases it is better to replace the whole assambley motor n regulator usually it comes motor n regulator when you buy it. also some times when you hit the motor with a hammer or with some thing like that it wakes up n you are able to move it up n down. it does not have to be in the same position to be replaced.
My window is stuck in raised up position. Do you have to lower the window to replace the regulator? If so, how to lower the window when the regulator no longer works?
first try hitting the motor sometimes it wakes up n it works again, if not you have to force it manually to adjust it so you can work it out, also make sure it is getting power n ground
great video. very detailed. my 2003 camry driver's side window does not go up. how can i tell it is the motor, but not the fuse or switch? it did not die all of a sudden, so it could not be the fuse, right? it started to roll up and down slowly or unsmoothly and then died completely. it is the motor or regulator, correct? thank you in advance.
thanks for visiting my channel according to your description it should be the motor, you also can apply 12 volts when you take out, it is not fuse, and I dont think it is the regulator.
not really a common problem, some times they just get old or the tracks where the windows run up n down get too dirty n the motor works harder to roll up /down the windows n that causes the motor to wera out faster than it should, always keep window tracks lubricated with spary silicon, thanks for visiting this channel.
Been in automotive most of my life this is one of the best complete videos I've ever seen. Thanks.
thank you very appreciated

Spray the path of the window on both sides with silicon spray or other lubricant some times that helps
if you get it online it is much cheaper
@@JM-AUTO any specific brand (Dorman, etc) or anything should work?
@@hazemusa there are so many online, my suggestion is to buy from some one who has good reputation or feedback or recommendations but dorman is good
