  • RC MX at Sandpit RC. 2nd test of rear suspension on Losi Pro Moto MX. More on aggressive cornering and control on landings. Three different springs, softest, hardest, and a dual spring hybrid. 40% hard and 60% medium. Aluminum bulk head.

There is a small hole in the under side of the shock cap. They have to leave a small amount of air in the top of the shock to keep from hydro-locking the shock at full compression. The volume of air can be used to tune how progressive the shock is, similar to using oil height in motorcycle forks. Best thing would be a shock with a piggy back reservoir and bladder.

Man you have some great videos testing out the bike and aftermarket parts! Has anyone tried running a front aluminum wheel for weight and keeping that front end planted in the turns?

Too heavy. Had trouble keeping front up for landings.
