    Hi - Nice video. A few of things to correct. 1) On the map - Russian Ridge is off of Skyline Blvd in the Santa Cruz Mountains and not where you placed on the map. That is actually Stulsaft. 2) Stulsaft doesn't have weekly events, that is Stafford park. 3) Northstar is 3-8. One thing you should have mentioned were the weekly music in the square every summer which draws thousands every Friday.

      Things have changed a lot. Disagree with more ghetto than nice. Just look at a map of prices as it’s gone through a lot of improvements in the last decade. If you were born and raised here, then it’s time to refresh the stigma.

    We San Carlos always say, crime comes from Redwood City, lol. When Box build their building, all the rentals added $1,000.00 a month to their rent. It used to be the cheaper city in the Peninsula.

    • @SpencerHsu
      @SpencerHsu  ปีที่แล้ว

      Old school mentality :) San Carlos is still nice but a small city. Redwood City has changed some of the most in the peninsula.

    • @k.s783
      @k.s783 ปีที่แล้ว

      Crime comes from Redwood City? Really? What a bunch of hogwash. As you should know, any city with a significantly larger population than San Carlos will have more crime on average, but maybe you don’t understand basic math.

    Too bad downtown is a crime riddled dump. This City peaked in the early 2000's and quality of life has gone down considerably since 2015. Traffic and crime rate has skyrocketed as well as the homeless population due to such rapid gentrification of the area. You talk it up because its your job, this makes you a boat load of money, so you have a massive bias in that regard. You also missed a lot of hidden gems around here which shows me you aren't a native. Not even a mention of Canyon Inn or Prima Deli? What about Handley Rock? You glossed over so many geographical areas, there's more than just Emerald Hills and Downtown. Come on man.

    • @SpencerHsu
      @SpencerHsu  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Completely misinformed. See the housing prices/stats and the crime rates since 2000 and 2015. You probably left long before things changed. See ya! And yes I’m a native born in the bay and been here for decades. No need to talk it up, people already know it when they drive around and have jobs around it

    • @Kuson2
      @Kuson2 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@SpencerHsu Checked out a crime graph, turns out crime has indeed been going down, so you got me with numbers there, but it doesn't always feel that way. I also never stated that I left the area. If you are a native I still don't understand why you'd leave out so much in your video, like I said, there is so much more to Redwood City then just Emerald Hills and Downtown. Makes you come off like someone who moved here in the last handful of years.

    • @Kuson2

      @@SpencerHsu "No need to talk it up, people already know it when they drive around and have jobs around it" So is this video for locals and therefor isn't necessary? I thought it was for people looking to move to the area and wanted to know the lay of the land. "See ya"? How humble we are.
