    I love historic Ellicott City. I would highly recommend visiting if you get the opportunity. I also vouch for all of the places on this list. Towson had some issues with crime recently with people from Baltimore City venturing out into the county, but it seemed to be a one time thing and it’s still quite nice overall.

      It's been since 2015 that I've visited MD (raised there since I was 8 years old). If you want safety, I'd recommend Frederick or Columbia. Bethesda is also good but you gotta be making over $209k a year to even afford those houses right now.

  • @ninagee4511
    @ninagee4511 27 วันที่ผ่านมา

    Some facts are incorrect. I've lived and visited all listed cities for 26 years.
    1. Silver Springs is not safe, especially since it's near to Langley Park
    2. With the exception of Towson and Annapolis, all the other cities are not close to the well-known universities. Mostly community colleges.
    3. Bethesda is an expensive city but you don't need to afford a $1M home. If you make over 209k a year, you can afford a decent house
    4. Annapolis should be placed 3rd in regards to low crime, but not wrong on affordable CoL

    Notice you named basically areas that you need a huge income to afford to live there. Many near the beltway areas. High income areas normally have lower crime rates and better schools due to high taxes to pay for more police and better school facilities. More likely to have speed traps and insane regulations.

    Silver Spring is full of crime and mayhem. She got this completely wrong. Maryland has way better places than Montgomery County and Baltimore County.She nailed it with Frederick. Frederick is the fastest growing county in MD. Although the Governor (who I voted for by the way) doesn't seem to get it (I'm disappointed with him on infrastructure with Hwy 15), Frederick is booming. Beautiful mountains and downtown. I'll take it over crime filled, crazy Montgomery and over exaggerated Howard.

    This is one of the most inaccurate videos I’ve ever watched. I’ve lived in several of these places in both Montgomery County and Howard County. The “famous” places listed are not famous as they claim. This video is just clickbait. I grew up in Rockville near Bethesda and I currently live in Columbia. There aren’t several “colleges and universities in these areas. Montgomery county has Montgomery college (community) and Howard has (Howard community college). There are no actually universities in either county with the exception of satellite campuses. Don’t be fooled. Do your research or hit me up with more info on both counties.

      Listen to the voice on the recording. Many of today's best places videos are AI generated. Unless you see a real person speaking that's often the case. Even then many realtors are only giving you government stats. This is why reading the comments of people who actually live in the areas is beneficial. Still do your due diligence as one person's heaven could easily be someone else's hell.
