They say she’s weak, but they compare her to main characters. Obviously the main characters are gonna appear godly compared to a side character, that’s not even fair. Hinata is loved because she (and Neji) has a interesting backstory, grit, and calming personality. Hinata developed better than Sakura, but she still held herself back because of the burden of being the oldest sister in Hyuuga Clan as well as meeting an unrealistic expectations of her mafia boss like "father of the year". She held back when fighting Hanabi for the heir seat, because she's got conscience - something her father did not see as having any value, because it hindered her potential and development in his opinion. I like her character the most , because she worked the hardest to come out of her shell.

I wondered for a long time why Hinata became a housewife while Sakura goes to work even when her husband is out of town. In both Sakura and Hinata's case, their husbands are very busy and don't come home often. And kids need their parents, since Naruto is busy most of the time, Hinata decided to drop out of her job to take care of the kids. If she had continued her job as a Ninja, then the kids would have to be taken care by a nanny. And that doesn't build parent child relationship.
That's why you see their children behave differently. Sarada seem more mature, edgy perhaps, because she was used to do everything independently. While Boruto seem more happy because he always have someone to rely on or cheer for him in home.

After reading all the comments, I almost convince myself that Sakura is stronger than Hinata but hey wait a second, who is a real super hero the one willing to sacrifice and risking their life to protect their beloved one. Hinata did three times or more jumped infront Naruto to save him. Alot of people misinterpreted Hinata vs Pain scene. Hinata was focused more to remove the black rods plus she already seen pain's battle style with her Byakugan and she knows she can't fight against 6 pain at same time. Even Naruto sage mode failed to win over only fox chakra helped him. She can counterback that almighty push with her 64 palm technique or rotation. Kishimoto cheated us, Sakura healing jutsu has limitation. Sakura should look older in Boruto. Also, if Sakura get hitted and having severe injury by momoshiki no one can save her, shizune is not at tsunade level yet. Naruto can but he can heal do the same to Hinata if he wasn't taken. Hinata developed better than Sakura, but she still held herself back because of the burden of being the oldest sister in Hyuuga Clan as well as meeting an unrealistic expectations of her mafia boss like "father of the year". Hinata was focused more to remove the black rods plus she already seen pain's battle style with her Byakugan and she knows she can't fight against 6 pain at same time. Even Naruto sage mode failed to win over only fox chakra helped him. She can counterback that almighty push with her 64 palm technique or rotation. Plus in this video kid Hinata hands movement was really fast but stupid kishimoto made her to wave her hand with lion fist while fighting pain, he just thought to make Naruto soaked with kyubis hatred chakra . I imagining the whole fighting scene between Hinata and Sakura, Sakura will create division with her clones throwing knives which Hinata can Dodge with Byakugan but Sakura will jump up and use her leg to attack, Hinata can hold with her two hand and use gentle fist oppss no more chakra flow. Then she use that Needle chakra move to attack and followed by other jutsu. Also, Sakura can only cut Hinata's muscle using her chakra blade which Hinata can stop using her lion fist. In return Hinata can break Sakura's bones. If she can fix Naruto's bone dislocation she can reverse it back. However Hinata won't do that because she is gentle and kind lady. That's what made her special. Hinata already overpowered Sakura in Boruto with hamura chakra so let's not talk about Boruto series here. Also, Sakura being cunning by staying under Sasuke susano protection and that's why she could escape from that dream tree. If Hinata with Sasuke and Naruto I bet she will use her Byakugan and pick a fight against kaguya when she saw Naruto get attacked. She could helped to stop some chakra flow from kaguya's body. And that last punch Sakura did it's not even necessary because hamura and hagoromo did it without Sakura 😂. Even if it's needed Hinata can use her lion fist.
Kishimoto cheated us, Sakura healing jutsu has limitation. Sakura should look older in Boruto. Also, if Sakura get hitted and having severe injury by momoshiki no one can save her, shizune is not at tsunade level yet. Naruto can but he can heal do the same to Hinata if he wasn't taken. Hinata survived because of her chakras inheritance through hamura. Sakura fighting style will be like Tsunade keep punching taking/get poked by the Susano blades then heal back till she get exhausted or die in battle..
