  • When former beauty queen Alexandra Pesic is gunned down in a brazen daylight shooting on a midsummer evening in 1992, a quiet community in a suburb of Vancouver, B.C. is stunned.
Some say her murder was foreshadowed by a chilling book that Pesic was mailed shortly before her death. As officers start surveillance on a suspect, the trail leads them to evidence of a contract killing believed to be motivated by greed and hate.

That family was behind the death murder of the young woman....The mother should never ever be released..And her husband should be investigated....The hate they had for this beautiful young woman could be felt...That is the living servants of the devil....May they rot in prison....

    • @danielbrown1724
      @danielbrown1724 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Exactly
It seems women can cry blue murder and the cops always take it lightly.
But after the woman turns up dead, they get miraculous hindsight and eventually end up creating and passing a bill in honor of the fallen woman.
Heathers Law or Karen’s Law, etc……
The men need to step up and do a better job of protecting our precious women. They are mothers, daughters, sisters, cousins, friends and lovers.
But there are men out there that clearly have mummy issues and when they are rejected by women or they see a woman they know they can never get……they get it in their thick heads that they’re going to take what they want regardless.
How many women are sexually assaulted and then strangled by a partner, ex partner or some man-child that thinks he can take what he wants?!!
      Too many to name……

There is a takeaway lesson in all this . . . if the person you are with is perpetually under the influence of their mother, leave, sooner rather than later. No, you're not going to "fix" him, or suddenly make the deranged lunatic mother in-law become rational and grounded, it just doesn't work that way. If you're married to someone with this type of pathetic connection to their mother, get a divorce, leave, do whatever you have to do. This was an extreme example, but in the general scheme of things, not at all that uncommon. Some people never grow up, they're mommy's little [fill in the blank] forever.

This case was truly heartbreaking. A young mother shot to death… That policeman was right when he said he suspected Alexandra’s death was a hit of some kind. Her ex-husband’s family killed her because they didn’t get custody of the child! I guarantee you that, if they had gotten custody of the child, Alex would NEVER have been allowed to see her son again! Her death could have been prevented if the police had taken her seriously when she told them she was being stalked! Yes, criminal harassment is now a crime in Canada, but it’s a change that came too late for Alexandra. R.I.P. sweet angel 🙏

How the developed world investigates and solves its crimes is a marvel. In Kenya, a child has recently died on the corridors of a public hospital, having waited hours to be admitted for a long handle garden fork that lodged in his head. His family had no money to admit hm and not even a band aid was administered on the poor child.
As we speak, some House is probing the matter 😆(read waiting quietly for the noise to die down before we move on to the next scandal).
    And life will go on.

    Ok, you win.
This is the worst mother in law (MIL) I’ve ever heard of.
I was wondering if these people were responsible for the stalking, assault, harassment and murder of the other woman. The one from the book.
    Imagine that. 😳

I have watched these CSI series, some from US, some from UK and ok Crime Beat. It gives me the impression that the Canadian laws are pretty lenient. Gives me the impression that they don't value loss of human lives and more concerned about the welfare of criminals. Taking away someone's lives and yet they are still eligible for parole. Its pretty weird.

Well first of all we agree with someone else there was no tears coming from that Man's eyes the husband. We believe it was just a big act put on.
We believe that she's going to take the fall. If he admitted he was part of it he would lose the business obviously for going to jail. The woman seems to be very subdued. She's probably been under his and does what she's told. She still guilty. But we found it surprising that she was shoplifting for insignificant things which means it's kleptomania since they had money and a problem behind that. Obviously it's never been addressed. We don't think for one minute that husband didn't know what was going on in his home. We know that it was 1992 but we watched when the murdered woman's mother was crying as the mother-in-law went by in the van and the two police officers were standing there had complete lack of emotion towards that woman just brushed by her. They didn't have to go hog-wild consoling her but they could have been little more decent but then again that's 1992. I know there was then and now hair were and are compassionate police officers however all we heard in the story was the sound of misogyny all the way around. And those two cowards hiding their face they were brave enough to kill an innocent. The defense lawyer knew what was going on.
She did get what she deserved but not everyone

The lawyer should have got the hitman to be a Crown wittness against the father-in-law for a lesser sentence for himself and a conviction for the father-in-law. The mother -in-law was horrible but she likely took the fall for her husband and son, which seemed fine with the court.

I have never understood why the religious, suffering the loss of a loved one, thank the very god their faith claims is responsible for everything...including the brutal death of their loved one. 🙄
