My mom kept pushing me to get a job when I was 16. No one wanted to hire me. Finally went to a strip club and they said I could be a hostess. Very nice people. I ended up not doing it. My mom said it was fine, but I just couldn't do it. My mom's words still echo in my head, she would tell me "get a job any job it doesn't matter what job." Additionally I was told at 16 "if you want to go to college you better save your money because I'm not going to pay for it."

As an ex stripper for over ten years , I would never tell anyone I loved or cared about to go into dancing / stripping . You’ll start with the intention of going to school saving money and it sully turns into partying, wasting money , getting turnt out tricking , strung out on drugs, or turn into full blown prostitutes ! It’s not a good life don’t let these ladies fool you honey ! Go get a skill like nursing , electrical, hvac etc . Many states offer fully paid technical programs to adults ! That’s how I became a medical assistant, medical billing coder and electronic health record specialist! And the state paid for it ! Also not sure your state but in the state of New Jersey if you make under $65k per year you can go to any community college for free !

There are many ways to get a degree, community colleges are often much cheaper to get an associate degree, then move on to a higher degree once you can get a job with an associate's. Makes me wonder if pornography (I mean the stuff that is technically legal where they promise that none of the performers or models are under age 18) does a good enough job making sure? For example, if an underaged model were in a pornographic performance sold "legally" (at a regular store, not black market) and it was later discovered she was underaged you cannot really prosecute the people who purchased it, so in that one specific situation owning and viewing child porn is effectively legal. In these situations only the employers can be prosecuted not the customers.

When I was a teenager, I too had the misfortune of meeting country bumpkins like these 4 here. I had moved from the ghettos of the Bronx with my parents to Orlando Florida. I was very street smart. So It seemed to me that everything my parents were running from back home, was much more worse behind the walls of the sunshine state. My encounter with these vultures I Once called country bumpkins happened through a girl who wound up being my bestfriend for far too short of time. Once these club owners have found themselves a nice young girl who has barely made it to 14, they have them lure their friends in too. They sell them dreams and leave out the part of all the drugs they'll fill their veins up with to make sure they never reach those same dreams they so convincingly sold them on. It's not just in the lower class clubs you'll find these young girl's.. its in all of them! When they get one's who can't dance, they keep them in the back for other services. When they have too many, they sell them off to other club owners. They call them the information society. Anything you want and need you can get through them. Some clubs within the state and others out. Some even out of the darn country. By the time they're done with you, your dreams never felt so far away. Dreams you thought were right in your grasp are now simply unreachable. In 1992 just turning 13, my bestfriend Heather was one of those girls lured in by another friend. She also lured others including me. Just 1 step inside that place and I stepped back out never to return. I begged her not to go back but she did so anyway. By 17 she was dead. She couldn't face the horrors of all they made her do, and what she had lured others into. Heather came from a great family. She was the baby of 3 children, born far too late and apart from her brother and sister. Her parents were in their late 50's when she came as a huge surprise. They were business owners and so hadn't retired yer. They did what they could to get her help but they were far too old to chase her around. Her siblings were almost in their 30s when she was born; and by the time she was a teen had families of their own. Her brother tried many times to help her with no avail. Her sister also tried to help her, but truth is she didn't want any part of taking care of her full-time because she didn't want her 2 children influenced by her sisters behavior. Seemed like heather turned more into the plague than family to them. Honestly, Heather wasn't close to either sibling. As i said, she was born far too late to have a sibling connection. Was a sad time when we lost her. So Hear me out when I tell you that this case here.. is much bigger, dirtier and scarier than it seems to be! A few years ago I had 2 neighbors who had a 14 year old and 15 year old teenage girls both of them would regularly be out at 2AM to about 4AM without any supervision just roaming around our complex. What I don’t understand is why we always put the burden everywhere but where it truly belongs and matters. As a mother of 4, my youngest 16, hasn’t and doesn’t leave my home at night. If she is gone from the home for any reason I simply expect to have several FaceTime conversations until she’s home. She does work at McDonald’s. She carries a 4.3 GPA with 2-3 AP classes. She’s in 10th grade and already has all of her college credits accumulated after volunteering one week at a youth camp. She’s studying engineering and I don’t show her what I expect from her with instilling fear but with instilling love. She knows that.. And I’ve been a single mother my oldest is 28, has 2 degrees one in psychology, my 2nd child is 25 and he has the severest form of schizophrenia and I’ve worked tirelessly to meet all state recommendations to get him in a State hospital for a year followed by an intermediate State funded program eventually on to independent living when he qualifies based on his behavior and level of need. Lastly, my youngest son also a challenge, is in college graduates next year, has a full time job at a phone store and still has many days he needs my advice. If u apply urself fully as a parent u can do it. And ur children will turn out. Let them go thru the teenage years and support them with boundaries along the way.

If you had actually watched the video, you would have learned she got busted when they pulled over a car she was in and they discovered that she was working as a stripper at SEVENTEEN. It was only after they investigated this case that they learned she had started there at age fifteen.

They contacted one of these anti human trafficking agencies who got in touch with Dept of Homeland Security(DHS) and they proceeded to prosecute the couple for human trafficking.
Both husband and wife each got 10yrs in Federal Prison and big time fines, now where was the trafficking?
The young lady voluntarily left her village to travel to the U.S after being told the terms on which she would be working.
This agency pumped up her brain with all sorts of fictitious stuff to say in court against her aunt and husband about how they made her travel and work for them against her will.
Not saying this is the same thing as the young girl stripping but this human trafficking thing just gets tossed around,

This what many people fail to realize about orlando. In many ways orlando is like vegas. Sure you got the tourism areas with all the hotels, stores, and attractions but once you leave the family friendly places you get a much seedier city. I graduated from bootcamp in Orlando in September of 1986, Company C175, and we used to go to that strip club every weekend when I was in Nuclear Power School. Actually, we rotated between Flashdancer and House of Babes. Since the base has been closed down I am surprised this place managed to survive.
There are still about 6-7 Strip Clubs in Orlando. That line of work will always be in demand.

Reminds me of 50+ years ago when I was a 19 yo college kid at the beach and mistook a 14 yo to be my age. When her mom told me she was 14 I thought she was lying. You are right! One of my close family friend daughter just turned 15 last month, March. If the dad had not told me I would not have believed her age, she looked 20 at least, and that is coming from me who was carded till I was around 44! I joined the Navy in 97 and got stationed in Orlando for nuke school. I knew there were a bunch of strip clubs on Orange Blossom Trail but never felt like throwing my money away. Couple of guys dragged me to one of them and it was just OK. Not thrilling. I didnt get excited over watching one naked woman with a bunch of screaming idiots.
It never occurred to me until now that there might have been somebody underage there. I thought in recent years they passed laws requiring the owners to keep official records along with a photo copy of the drivers license.
