Loved this video, we live on the coast in Northern Ireland and my daughter goes to Aberdeen university..She loves to go the beach as it feels like home! The library is pretty impressive too, she always sends us a picture when she is inside..I've completely binged on your videos this Christmas, keep up the fab work.

Unfortunately tonight is out last night in Scotland. Some really great suggestions though, we will have to come back and check that road out, we drove so close to it. I dread to think what goes on on them ships
The mould is caused by condensation, poor ventilation and poor insulation. The condensation is obviously bad because of cooking and sleeping in the van causing too much water vapour. Sadly, you can’t have one without the other !
Since changing to the new boxes it hasn't been an issue at all. I think the issue was that the old bags were very squished in so the area couldn't breath. The new ones are way smaller. Such a relief to have it sorted.
Cooking and breathing in such a confined space with all that moisture and no ability to dry the van out in high humidity Scotland = dampness and mould! Was that a CO alarm? I’d have at least two with a diesel heater fitted! Interesting video.
The new boxes are a lot smaller, so that area can breath a bit more, and it seems to have done the job. Generally moisture is always the challenge though. We try and air it out as much as possible, and we usually sleep with a vent open. The van is really well insulated so stays pretty warm, to be honest we really don't use the heater much (although that would probably help with the moisture as well).
Another great video Guy's....looking forward to the next video, as I know you are in my area doing a tour and will be interesting see your views of my local area.....I really need to get my Wee Berlingo camper unit made for short nights away...:-) Another question guy's what is the small projector you use and would you recommend it.
Hello Graham, I will start editing the next one now! The projector is the Viewsonic M1+. It might not be the best projector ever but it is perfect for what we want. It's small, has a good speaker built in, around 3 hours of battery and we have mounted it from its swivel arm. The draw back is probably the image quality as it is limited to 720p (we don't mind this) and you could probably get a brighter one if you had a fixed unit, however as you saw we have black out blinds and stuff so really isn't an issue.

Haha, our orgone levels are pretty sky high at the moment. Well obviously no diet is perfect, and we aren't really being vegan for health reasons. It's more for environmental and animal welfare reasons. Although Iz has been veggie for ever and wouldn't change, I actually kind of like the idea of having a small holding in future an may be open to changing, but at present we are shopping in supermarkets and I don't believe there is any ethical meat, dairy or egg you can get from there so best avoided. Also I'm sure we all put much worse in our bodies than a vegan meat alternative, one night in the pub is probably taking years off.
Also on a side note. It's funny the carnivore mentality how if I was sitting down to eat a steak and had a coke on the side you probably wouldn't say anything, but as I was doing it for vegan reasons it needed to be challenged. The cult of meat sure is funny 😉
