My personal trade would be Cody Martin and Nick Richard’s because I was about to pick him up in my Fantasy BBall League. Probably still will if available. Too bad somebody already scooped up Richard’s before me.
I’m a LeBron fan and I would welcome him any day. Big physical guy who plays hard. Rebounds, blocks shots and can get a bucket every other possession. Not a lethal shooter but can stretch the floor.
Definitely love Stewart’s physicality and toughness, something this current team desperately needs. My only concern is that he is too small to defend the larger centers.
I would prioritize getting DFS and Sharpe, and slightly overpaying by including a 1st and a pick swap to include Vando and Gabe in that trade. Really like Vando, but the team can no longer afford to wait for him to fully heal. I do feel it will take that much draft compensation bcuz many teams around the league will be calling to ty and trade for both those guys. Sharpe is low key a solid back up center and very young. Second choice would Martin and Richards. Lakers may get not need to give up a 1st, but likely a pick swap to get Charlotte to even consider giving up Richards who teams like the Knicks called about this past summer, and Charlotte was not ready to entertain the idea of trading him away. Stewart would by my last choice just because he is slightly undersized, and that is the last thing the lakers need.
Everything is hypothetical of course, but this one is the most “likely” imo. Hornets are still rebuilding, rumors have said both Martin/Richards are available, and they’ve theoretically drafted their replacements already.
The first trade is the most realistic option. It’s the type of working around the edges trade that Pelinka should have tried to complete in the offseason.
As a hornets fan why the hell would we trade Martin and Richards to get Woods and Vincent? That does absolutely nothing for us.. why would we just help the lakers that’s dumb
I really like these trades man. I think I like the charlotte trade the most but I really like Isaiah Stewart cause even though he's undersized something tells me he be a much better defender against Jokic than Richards believe it or not but Martin sweetens the deal more for me
I think Lebron should focus on Power Forward at both ends of the Court, and let Dlo play make, and have lebron worried about 1 Defense 2. Rebounding 3. Scoring-(but like 20, but off other peoples feeds movement post ups. I would play Koloko and reddish, and grind a team. Hachimura should be found for 20 plus shots. Bron bron, and AD rebounding off his misses will be a good controlled day. Oboards should be easy for lebron, and big to big passing impossible to stop. But they need another rebounder out there with davis at all time.
I love all the suggestions you presented. If Pelinka doesn’t make any moves before the trade deadline. He should be let go because anyone else would of been long gone by now.
Not related to this but I feel like the sentiment around Vanderbilt is kind of a bummer. It was obvious he suffered a season ending injury last year but they wanted to keep fan morale up and said that he would eventually come back. If he really was able to come back, they would've played him in game 5 of the playoffs but they didn't for obvious reasons and now fans are acting like hes missed a whole year cause of an ankle sprain or something...
The starting roster must hit these scoring benchmarks per game or face criticism for underperforming: - LeBron James: 20-22 PPG - Anthony Davis: 24-26 PPG - D'Angelo Russell: 15-17 PPG - Rui Hachimura: 10-12 PPG - Dalton Knecht: 10-12 PPG
Beef stew is my favorite player here. In a perfect world maybe there is a 3 team deal with pistons, nets,& Lakers . Where we get beef stew and DFS pistons get either Cam Johnson or claxton maybe both and nets get a bunch of picks
It would be awesome to see your analysis on the other side. what would the benefits be for the hornets to do the trade. Like what would make the hornets better with Gabe Vincent or wood for them to agree on a trade besides the 2nd rounders. Or which 2nd round picks are you proposing the lakers should offer.
On the nets I really wish Ben simmons was available... elite on D still, rebounding and blocking shots, .. Hornets trade looks the best and the least likely. But down two centers power forwards is bad, and something needs to be done reasonably soon. Still want to see if any of the young cats can play D- lewis hood schfino well enough to lock someone up... but in the lakers current configuration neither knecht or hachimura should be under 10 shots ever. Make rui shoot himself cold, and everybody else go for boards, plus lots and ltos of PR r= lebron, AD,
Stitch incoming...there isn't a trade(s) that's going to magically turn the Lakers season around. Before the season began, the Lakers had a nice squad, on paper, if they stayed relatively healthy. Unfortunately, that hasn't been the case. The Lakers were/are a "zero margin" team. The mounting injuries threw them below that margin. LeBron defaulting back to LeBron ball has just compounded our issues. With a ageing LeBron, the Lakers need a starting PG/SG/SF that are borderline all star players, that play at a high level on both ends of the court, along with a decent bench. The Lakers aren't getting all that, with the few assets they have. Especially considering the CBA, and competition from other teams looking to upgrade...🤷🏿♂
The Charlotte hornets trade would be a fit plus won't have to give up assets and added jaxson Hayes that will give the hornets an young center and the Lakers get nick Richards 💯
I’d love beef Stew, he brings a passion and physicality that is kinda missing on this team. Every one of LeBron’s foes has played here with him, so why not?
All these trades benefit the Lakers. Why the hell would we trade the lakers our two best defenders to get back a guy that doesn’t even play and another guy that’s completely trash.. lakers have nothing that we want
This channel done made hella videos on some type of trade the lakers should make & they haven’t did a damn thing & not gone do anything 😂🤦🏾♂️ all the players I done heard the lakers trying to acquire never happens , it’s embarrassing how Rob penlika just sit on his ass & do nothing
Do this Rui Gabe Vando and a first for Grant and Time Lord DLO Wood and JHS plus a first for DFS and Sharpe Max Christie and some 2nds for Cam Whitmore and Aaron Holiday Whitmore in the g league now and doesnt get major burn in houston cuz of there deep rotation and neither does Holiday Id then cop PJ Tucker is hes bought out just to be a veteran liaison can be the Jared Dudley and plays hard when given the chance. He is a champ and a star role player so he can help young guys and Bron respects him. Hes also across the hall and is mad at the Flippers so im sure hed take the opportunity.
Who would you target through a trade in an effort to improve the Lakers defense? Comment down below!
Check out G2A here - www.g2a.com/n/jsmxg2a
A point of attack defender, 3 & D wing and a Rim protecting/Bruiser type of big.
@@edwardvaldez8737 well said!

Lebron fans won't want him but Beef Stew would be great. Might light a fire under these soft dudes that have been on the court these past 2 games smh
U sure bout that😂
Hes to old now cant play defensive already

We need someone who can start at center so AD can move back to the 4

Hn trade vando when he’s potentially coming back next month noooooooooo be patience team should be fully healthy in January
Love these trade ideas. Lakers FO need to see this.
That first trade seems like a great deal if we can really get that done ✅

Despite being a “Fan” of the Lakers, you do a great job in “taking the emotions” out of your analysis. Once again, I say, JSM: Fair And Balanced. 👍🏿
This year he has agreed to

Jsm with another banger
I see we’re in the holiday spirit with that LeChristmas profile picture lol

only problem is one more big.
I like rui but did you actually just say 20 shots a night for rui? Brother what?
only traore reddish and ad not in the negative scores on Defense. They need a defensive leader
Rui been dogging it on defense with fake close outs.
I love all the suggestions you presented. If Pelinka doesn’t make any moves before the trade deadline.

LOVE IT, ESPECIALLY THE LAST ONE

Good analysis bro. What's the song or beat you use for this video called?
“Get Home” - Lakey
I love trade nick richard and dfs
But 15 december feels so longg man😢
Would be great if these could happen for the Lakers. Not sure the other teams would want these though.
Please lakers make a good trade on Dec 15 as my birthday gift

Give the G-Leaguers some run. They will definitely bring more effort. Will they competent scorers? Not likely.
I would LOVE Stew, but he’s certainly too expensive for us. I wouldn’t want to spend a frp on him
The lakers, should trade for CODY
MARTIN, DORIAN FINNEY SMITH,
and ISIAH STUART.

Lakers should trade ad and lebron. They haven’t been goin hard on dem doods. Salute
Every week its a new player, lakers want every player and their momma 😂
Just make a move now ROB, Jonas will be available after the 15th
Why JJ only defense is switch everything his creating his own mismatch WTF!!!
Im surprised no one brings up how dlo or reaves get switched onto the big centers on teams? When ad is focused on a guard is that a lack of big thing?
nets was the best trade
