I find it hard to believe that JJ hasn't met leaders that motivated people. Leaders who commanded respect and motivated players by body language, confidence and an unwavering sense of perseverance. His demeanor smells of frustration, lack of confidence in his team and defeat. I think there is a learning curve in coaching. Many leaders who succeeded often don't have the knowledge as JJ but they knew how to inspire and motivate players. Leaders inspire players to give it their best day in and day out. i don't think the Lakers have a roster to be great but playing hard and having respect for themselves and the fans shouldn't even be talked about.

Jj looking like he wish he was back sitting beside Doris Burke. It’s easy to coach from a podcast, easy for us in the comments to critique him, but it’s so much different when you on that sideline and have to make decisions in the moment that other people get to say was bad or good after you make it. Humbling experience.
