This man just fought a former world champ bare-knuckled and has never sounded so coherent and clear. He really seems to have gotten his life on track. Kudos to Platinum.
It's so crazy!... I also don't remember him being so concise & clear with his words &, seemingly, in his mind. I don't recall him being so articulate & insightful. It's unfortunate how negatively an environment can affect can effect person & how much it can carry over into other aspects of our lives.. But seeing the difference in Mike makes me so happy for him because it's (now) obvious he was struggling in a few aspects of his life.

It's because he's never been KO'd. You gotta realize how CTE works, it's primarily done by getting knocked down and more important knocked out. A quick rundown is if you're knocked out, your brain gets scrambled and if you are knocked down/out and take a fall/another hit that's another subsequent interaction that will permanently f you. Luckily for Perry he's never had that, so yeah he'll be good

Being a father has definitely matured Mike, glad he has some motivation and something to keep his mind right.

I've been a fan of this dude since his first or second UFC fight. I remember thinking he was just some Jersey Shore toolbox at first but after a few fights he grew on me as a fighter. He's matured right in front of our eyes and deserves all the success coming his way

Always been a massive fan of Mike Perry. I remember him coming up in the UFC, very entertaining fighter who loved to throw down.
BKFC is his new home and he's undeniably, the face of the org. I hope he rides this wave to the very top and makes all the money he deserves. BKFC is going places - more exciting events like this please.
It's amazing to see Mike flourish in his new role as superstar. I might be biased because I too am a Florida boy but I think it's amazing to see everyone finally come to be a fan when I've been a super fan since the Cowboy fight. He's matured right in front of us and only a few has been paying attention.
It’s crazy because I grew up in the same town as Mike. I never knew him personally but I know people that know him. Now he’s one of the biggest names in combat sports right now. Good for him. Shout out from the 407.
We had Tom Molineaux, then John Sullivan, and now we got African Perry as the face of bare knuckle. Gotta appreciate what Perry and Plessis have done for African combat sports, both in Cameron and Hatfield... It was hilarious how he got starstruck by Conor and somewhat intimidated during the face off but it was a good one.
I agree Perry is African, just like me, Du Plessis, Adesanya and Petr Yan - but he's not from Hatield, he's from Flint.

Great coaching and a loving family can do a lot for a fighter. Mike is an extremely smart man and talented boxer. JT Taylor needs more recognition as a coach! Him and mike are a dynamic duo. They are going to do great things together!
I love seeing Mike successful, it's crazy to think that if it wasn't for this new kind of fight sport he could have been one of those super talented fighters that ended up being chewed up and spit out by the fight game with nothing to show for it but thanks to BKFC he has a perfect opportunity that he and his family will benefit from.
