    DAMNNNN! We almost had Nate and Connor as the coaches on TUF?? That would have been freaking epic. We better get a third fight between those two legends before it’s all said and done.     Idk if he’s a perfect human but I’ll never forgot the memories of his early fights and being a successful Irish sportsman. Was so motivating watching as an Irish teenager who was trying to become a footballer. I’m sure other lads can relate in someway

    Conor always rubs me off the wrong way, but I know it’s mostly a show, a character. But this sort of interview genuinely makes me appreciate him as a fighter and a human. The guy is super smart, super well-spoken, carries an amazing contagious attitude.

      He’s a complicated guy who paved a specific road that nobody walked before him and hasn’t yet since. His rise was meteoric and he was young when it happened, as ridiculous as it seems to feel sympathy for a person with a lamborghini yacht, I always felt for him when he fell off and was clearly being crushed by the weight of it all. I was never a giant fan of his but I always got the vibe that he’s got a big heart, and having a big heart isn’t always a blessing

    Big respect to Conor for backing Katie Taylor the way he is, she is the greatest Irish sportsperson of all time and deserves her big moment in Croke Park. Even McGregor himself definitely should’ve had that big moment in Croke Park by this stage. Conor isn’t a perfect person but his love for our country is something that makes us all happy

    I was a fan in his come up, but he ended up alienating me since just before the Khabib fight. Seeing this made me smile. I hope he realizes that he is in a point in his career where bad press isn’t always good press anymore, and that this is the Conor we all fell in love with.

    conor says what many retired fighters said right before their last fight, they're all excited and in the best shape of their lives and after this win they'll do this and that..until they lose, then they hang up their gloves, I'd love to see conor redeem himself though and I respect him for continuing to be in the fight game because NO ONE ELSE fighting today would have continued fighting after achieving what he has, he got two belts, he had kids, he's filthy rich, he's gotten KO'd and TKO'd while at the top of his game, he's faced scandal after scandal mainly because he's such a public figure, he snapped his leg, he's in his mid 30's..most fighters retire or give up on the sport after facing just one of those things, he could retire on a hundred acres but he's still fighting..he's a true fighter, many in the ufc are just athletes taking the next step or fighting only to achieve that belt or because they need the money, but not conor

    It really is a special show/hour. An anniversary show with
    The Notorious. I have so much respect for Conor after these
    last 3-4 years. Which only ADDS-to my-Conor-respect for the previous
    ten. If truth be told these have been very trying/challenging years -
    but The Macster made them look easy. Like a walk in Santa Monica park.
