  • Hi!
In this video, I'm sharing how I spend most of my free time during summer-spring in New York. We made it a goal to head to the sea (New York has a shoreline on the Northern Atlantic Ocean) as much as possible this year to combat my Vitamin D deficiency. Here, you'll see one of those sunny days in Long Beach, NY.
Then, I'll take you through the clay reclamation process. This part of my ceramic journey is one of my favorites, even though it can get messy and tough at times.
Next, we are at a Kurdish-American wedding. Two of my dearest friends Roni & Lucie tied the knot. They hosted an intimate ceremony in their garden in Brooklyn, surrounded by family and friends. We even danced the 'halay' all together. Such an amazing night! Wishing them a lifetime of happiness! 💖
Finally, you'll get to see my work on a large ceramic pot using red clay. I like to improvise with utensils and kitchen supplies when needed. As you can see, I used a big salad bowl to stabilize my large bowl while working on it - a helpful trick. There was a minor issue on the bottom, but I managed to fix it later on. You might also notice that the bowl initially appeared a bit wobbly and uneven, but I used another kitchen tool to achieve a more precise form.
Hope you enjoyed the video! If you did, remember to like, subscribe, and ring that notification bell, so you stay updated with my creative journey. Thanks for being a part of it! 😊🎥
