EDIT: It's possible that the defense reduction from Harald will NOT be dispelled by Scipio Aemilianus because Harald's skill states that it is part of his own "Buff" whereas Aemilianus states he dispels "debuffs". Testing will, of course, need to be done in order to see what actually happens in game. It's also possible that if Aemilianus DOES dispel the defense reduction, it will simultaneously dispel the attack buff as well, making the whole thing pointless anyway. In the battle log, Harald's "Varangian Guard" Skill shows up in two pieces, the first is the attack buff called "Infantry Inspiration" and the second is the defense reduction called "Formation Destruction". It's unclear at the time of writing this if the game treats "Formation Destruction" as a debuff imposed on yourself OR if the game considers it something along the lines of a "Negative Buff". Pakal has a similar debuff cleanse and apparently it does remove ONLY the defense reduction imposed by Harald so if Aemilianus functions the same, then what I've proposed in the video should hold true. Shoutout to myself for realizing this 2 hours after posting LMAO and shoutout to @mattmattah7740 for reminding me about the Pakal/Harald interaction.

he can't be OP because he has no AOE. Ash will get better trades simply because of his aoe, he will always get better trades because he is tapping rf marches walking to fill the flag.
Based on Pakal Harald interaction, only the defense should be dispelled. Everyone feared what you described would happen when pakal got teased, but test showed he actually cleared the defense only without messing with the rest
If they can give Harold a Health buff in museum you could definitely do it. I like the dispel. I'm interested in seeing how it works but like that Tariq doesn't have self imposed side effects. He has great anti swarm if you dare to swarm those two. You'd be dealing with 2700 and 3400 nuke on that Garrison but if you leave it alone you still are getting hit with 2500 nuke

Archer garrison? Doubt
Well, then you are stuck in a constant loop of what if the next upcoming commander counters the current one? And just sit there watching for eternity
I somehow doubt it. The rally meta seemingly shifts in rotations of 2 to 3 releases. This would be the first shift in rally meta for infantry in quite awhile. Our last rally release wasn't exactly good, whereas archer rallies have been the banger for some time now. Maybe over the next few rotations, but I dont think quite yet. Maybe a solid archer garrison, but I doubt a really hard counter right away.
I think the next archers garrison will kick Scipio's ass...then they will do a cav rally able to wreck the archer garrison...that's how this predictable and stupid game works.

I have one more question from the previous i posted. I have bouda prime 5551 + hermann prime 5553 but no second cavalry. Should i focus on zhuge 5551 with my hermann or focus on huo 5551 to match with william 5551 for a second cav march. Thanks in advanced
So I have all the infantry commabders expertise besides Sargon and only have enough Gh to expert one of the next two infantry commanders. Which one do u suggest I go with? I’m infantry main obviously
I predict that Harald will do really good, testing will show whos best for tradition inf rallies between Tariq, WW and Harald. But with liu we saw other old commanders come back to life so maybe the same happens with harald

Now Hera is a must for countering these smite rallies. Knowing Lilith, they will release new archer garrison with 20% normal attack reduction completely killing smite rallies.

curious if Scipio Aemilianus going to be good paired with a Beli prime with the infantry artifact. rage engine buff + rage engine debuf + extra damage when swarming a target... 🤔 probably won't work that great but maybe beli prime might get to be more usable eventually if everything works out surprisingly good

i'm still interested in pakal as a secondary. he's your go to generic anti swarm proof-er secondary. the 40% AD stack and counterattack is so unique and good (esp the AD reduction stacks)
what about scipio and scipio since the new scipio can silence and grows rage too and so does old scipio, so doesn’t that mean they can cast active skills faster plus it’s better than straight up gaining rage that can be lost to skills like tariq last skill

Hounestly Omni, I can't really remember a dominant infantry rally. Infantry has always been known more for Garrison. It would be nice to see a dominant infantry rally for once, so I, for one, would love to see William + combo be the next Atilla

Garrison can only defend 1v1 on Scipio/Harald. Swarming it will make the Garrison lose faster.
Just a thought, Do you think that the additional 1 second silence and dps from Guan Yu as secondary not worth? I mean, Guan kinda works like Honda and peopke keep using Honda secondary depite the halved Active. Plus Guan's 4th skill will probably make up for the Halved Active.

You can counter rallies with seige towers. It takes the wind right out of it.

They reduced Belisarius prime rage requirement from 200 to 100 in his first active skill, and now after the update its 200 again, can you please talk about this, lilith thinks that we won't notice
I’m fairly certain that cooldowns begin once the actual effect is over. In other words, if an ability lasts 3 seconds and has a 5 second cooldown, the 5 second cooldown begins AFTER the 3 second effect is over. Meaning the soonest you can recast that skill would be a total of 8 seconds after the initial cast time. Cooldowns matter.
Edit: cooldowns do not, in fact, begin after abilities end. Cooldowns begin when abilities are initially cast.
This is incorrect. A cool down begins the same turn the ability is activated.

@@rokBane31 yeah, you’re right! Cooldown begins when ability is casted. Wow, that changes my optics on quite a lot of things in the game. And yeah, it is testable with the battle log. I guess I was just too lazy to go sift through a report and see if an ability ever occurs earlier than I would’ve thought it could.
@@TheLazyGoose i've been playing 5 years. The game is complex lots of things work differently than most understand. Battle logs hold lots of valuable info if you know what you're looking for.

Wallace AND Luche will be the best secondaries to Milio.
The catch is that Luche wil be best against Skill commanders (due to his skill damage taken reduction), and Wallace will be better against Smite garrison (for the same reason).
Btw Wallace is underated as a rally:
His active skill is NOT 2400, its 2400+300. Meaning a full 2700 smite factor buffed by 20% damage amp from Milio (and if wallace's 40% amp goes on himself, only 2400 should be amplified, but thats good enough imo)

@@denis-mf3cx gorgo/LC isn’t a great rally. Atilla/LC deals much better smite damage. We weren’t too impressed with LC/Atilla rallies though.

U are reaching for the 2 new infantry commanders. So many heads for no real gain. No AOE is the same flaw the new cavs had. U really have to consider a lot of factors when u max a commander. I think the play is Lui Che primary and whoever is second. I use Alex right now so I will prolly pass on both inf commanders. I would prefer Wallace behind Lui Che if I upgrade Alex.

@@OmniarchOfficial Bro, I've been playing since beta, Rise of Civilizations. Atillila's release was the beginning of the additional commanders to the game. As with anything new, bugs had to be worked out. Attila was nerfed, and Constantine was buffed. Did it 'break the game?' No. Were there growing pains with this new commander, of course. But it was a learning process for us all, and it literally took months for Attila to wreak havoc in KVKs before Lilith adjusted his skills. Today's commanders with the formation, equipment tiers, city skin buffs, VIP levels, etc., are very much equipped to counter any newly released commander. As I said before, no one commander will be "breaking the game."
