Nearly 12% of fatalities from falling happen between 6 and 10 feet. It is irresponsible to not have guard rails or a harness while looking over the side of that rock.
Especially when you live in a universe where getting grabbed and put down in the soft high grass whille wearing a helmet is enough to knock you out. 7:47🤣.

Well, finding out now about over sensitive fall damage pretty much sours me on playing this.
I think the stupid, bland dialog actually had already turned me against it after i heard some of the dumb ass stuff the character was saying.
From what I have seen as well as what he is saying, "the game is a perfectly average 'modern' game with a few problems that can probably be patched. Nothing is too impressive. Nothing is too bad. It is the plain oatmeal of video games. You should have no feelings one way or the other about it." Ok. "Now pay $70-130, and remember everything that has been shown to these people is a curtailed experience to show off the game at its best."

Everyone brings up the Cyberpunk Maelstrom deal for this, but it's not because it's edgy and has cursing, it's because the danger felt tangible. Scenes like these? carry zero stakes

Stun Batons are in star wars canon, so are Vibroknucklers. Both could have been used to knock out targets and make logical sense. Instead of a 55kg girl punching a helmet.

Honestly game doesn’t look “bad”, but once again Ubisoft is making the same game and putting a different skin on it. Same AC stealth, Farcry outposts, and overall a copy and paste feeling that all Ubisoft games have had for years now
I’ve seen 3 videos of people who got the Super Duper Secret 4 hour play, they have all spent minutes talking about the horse race mini game.. it’s weird and apparent that Ubisoft has asked (told) them to highlight it. This game is in deep trouble, Ubisoft stock took a hit based on the IGN preview… $70 minimum and a Season Pass… nah. Also, yes, you can compare other Open World games to BG3 in terms of quality.. and you should.

It's quite amusing to watch how all the TH-camrs sponsored by Ubisoft are recording "their" impressions of Star Wars Outlaws, supposedly doing so without bias, under the guise that Ubisoft has "allowed" them to say "anything" they think. The reality is that they say anything (most likely from a pre-prepared script) except what they truly think. Moreover, this entire sponsored scenario demonstrates how easily audiences can be manipulated. Just add a little bit critique, just enough to convince most of the audience that you not completely bias (when you are). People literally can't put two and two together and realize that any influencer's interaction with a publisher is a form of bribery. The publisher accommodates them, selects them, organizes early access to the game, and says, "say what you think." For the influencer, this is primarily about hype, views, and consequently, money. If they allow themselves to freely criticize the game, they won't get the pre-release version next time and, as a result, won't jump on the hype train and will lose money. It's all extremely obvious.
I don't really see what you mean... Most videos have been pretty balanced, but mostly positive... Maybe, just maybe the game is actually good, and you guys cannot fathom it cause you're so damn bias lol. Also, these guys would risk getting demonetized if they don't state they are sponsored, Luke has literally mentioned this in his videos previously. There's no reason to buy a ubi game at full price. Wait 6 months and get it half off or just wait till the game of the year edition with all the dlc to go on sale. The more you wait for a ubi game the better and cheaper they get.

That horse-racing rumours feature just smacks so hard of the sort of thing that is technically in the game, but only in 2-3 heavily curated instances so it can be brought up in demos. A bit like when they say our missions can be solved in a dozen different ways, and they show the one mission thats been that well thought out.
So it’s a decent game pretty much. It’s not for me at all but I hope people have fun with it
It really doesn’t help that a couple of hours ago. It came out that the people who made Star Wars outlaws buttered upper reviewers with trips to Disney World and boat tours.
At this point, I’m assuming everybody who says anything good about this game has been paid off.
My main problem with this game (besides the pricing in South America) is the takedowns, the person in charge of that... What were you thinking? And who the heck approve that?! We all seen the Iron Fist knocking a trooper with a thick helmet but " 7:46 " WHAT? And this is a company that makes really good takedowns, from Splinter Cell Blacklist to the newest Ghost Recon, even Watch Dogs Legion have really good takedowns. I hope they change that ASAP after launch.
So I did a fun(somewhat) experiment. I watched all these youtubers who got to play these 4 hours early just to see how genuine their “reviews” are. So far this one’s my 5th? 6th? Anyway, out of all of these so far only 1 person actually thought it was worth mentioning the gunplay/gear system in this 3RD PERSON FUCKIMG SHOOTER. And Luke you disappoint me, you were not the one. Or do you think the fact that you only have a blaster pistol and can only temporarily pick up other weapons off dead enemies that you drop when climbing a ledge or interacting with a panel etc is an insignificant fact that can be glossed over? How about said blaster’s reload mechanic? There are no ammo drops and no overheat/cooldown a la mass effect 1, you reload by pressing reload once then you have to play a minigame and time a second press of the reload button to actually reload(think gears of war, except there it was optional for a boost in firepower)
How was the Disneyland?
The reason it's trash is it's not worth 130 dollars. People (myself) are getting starfield vibes in terns of corporate Design by committee.
The stealth takedown animations drive me insane. They drop instantly with just a simple tap or slap on a stormtrooper's helmet. Surely they could have made it so that you are using some sort of tool like a stun baton or simply strangle them. Plenty of AC games do this when you cannot access the hidden blade. I don't think anyone should take inspiration from the Kenobi show or some of the other slop we've got from Disney animation or otherwise.
Sounds like a Ubi game... might check if it lands on PS+.

Yeah, really bad move. Most other reviewers at least disclosed how Ubisoft wined and dined them.
The lack of immersion detail on the melee combat is perplexing when these little environmental details have been picked up. Kay needed vibro-knuckles or a truncheon or something, the lack of weight in the melee interactions is wild to me as something so central to player experience particularly for a stealth playthrough.
Whacking a helmeted trooper or thug with an open fist seems absolutely ludicrous to me, and somehow unbelievable that it wasn't picked up or observed during playtesting and iteration.

Clunky platforming is kind of a turn off but if it's just a small part of the game i can handle that. All i really want is descent graphics, 60 fps and no pop in.

As a hardcore Star Wars Fan...I respectfully disagree with many takes in this video. The graphics looks good in general, but there are some graphical issues, dust and explosions as far I have seen have very different quality...some are not that high quality. But I think the gameplay looks bad - combat looks worse than stealth and stealth does not look good. Takedowns with a hand just plain silly and the animation for it looks bad. Also I personally do not care about the mini games, waste of time use it on the other parts of the game. The speeder part just looks boring as well. I think this is at most 6/10 from what I have seen so far...decent, but not good...I hope I am wrong but I have a hard time seeing this being good so far (I just hope the story can lift the game up, but I can't think of how to make this an interesting storyline).
Interesting take on reviews and performance. We have seen that reviewers ignore performance issues when reviewing games. Best example: Elden Ring.

Okay… I’m going to be wait and see and not jump the gun. But there is one thing that is weird about this video compared to others from Luke. When some things are poorly made, Luke usually makes fun of them while laughing. He has like this « making fun of how dumb this is » laugh. And there is almost none of that here. He is more serious in general. For example when he talks about the bot AI. It feels a bit off, I would expect mister Skeptic to hammer more on those issues. We’ll see.

Before you go hawking an Ubislop game maybe read the room Luke. With this company’s track record, there’s zero chance this is going to be a decent polished product at launch. I know they’re paying you in the forms of many sponsorships this year alone, but once you lose your reputation it’s gone forever. And in the case of Ubitrash, it’s clear your audience has no patience for their BS, yet you seem to not recognize that in your rhetoric. Akin to promoting Todd Howard’s next slop after Starfield, which you’d not do (unless they paid you Ubisoft style).
