Thank you for bringing these music to the forefront. There are lots of amazing music that I'm unaware of simply because they're in games that I've never heard of, or have no desire to play.
Its always worth taking a dive into an online stores games and or just picking up a game that looks interesting in a brick and mortar store. A lot of well established franchises today I enjoy I just found in a video store or tucked into a corner in aan online store and I just decided to take a chance on it and said "Why not?" Like the game that is the cover for this video? I played its sequel on a whim since it got a discount during holiday as it was a generally spooky game. Ended up falling in love with it and played it obsessively until I beat it and gosh after playing the full game and having context the opening movie is eye opening.
Erick my man I can't believe you know Lagoon lol. The intro theme was indeed out of this world and way beyond it's time in early 90s. So good and epic.
Playing Spectral Souls on the PS2 in Japanese at the time and listening to that awesome battle theme while having no idea what was happening was the trigger for me to start learning Japanese. Thanks for adding it to that list!
Some cool songs, thanks for posting. Glad to see Cosmic Star Heroine got some love. Another rpg I'd recommend is Another Eden. It has awesome music. A non-rpg I'd recommend is Lords of Thunder. Some of the best game music, ever

I didn't watch the whole thing but The Caligula Effect 2 has some good songs in it. And another OBSCURE PS1 game... Dragonseeds - The first battle bgm is a huge fusion of jazz, techno, pop with some Indian vocals thrown in.. very nutty. Title is "Battle on the Holy Plane."
Magical starsigns battle theme is the main reason i tried so damn hard to finish that game, the gameplay was fun it just gets really confusing how to progress on certain areas so I quit. it's weird I've played half this list, like the falcom games and gust games as well as death end. didn't realize I was so into such niche titles.
I love rpg musics. I was not a fan of fire emblem games but hearing three houses ost that happened to grace my youtube recommendation made me want to play it. Now I have beaten three houses, engage, and awakening. Currently playing fates birthright
