And now, about the pouring it’s the part were he is partially correct but still pouring it half way of foam is incorrectly. That’s just an old trick. Foam must be 1/4 TOPS not 1/2. That’s just wrong.

People don't understand just how much better the second beer poured drinks. I saw another video like this a couple of years ago and was curious to see the difference of how the beer tasted and affected my stomach. I've never drunken a beer any other way after turning to the second pouring method, you just have to wait a little longer for the head to settle but you still end up with the same amount of beer and a better tasting easier drinking beer. I assure you its the best way to drink a beer, it hits differently and is enjoyable. I suggest trying it for yourself at least.

IF you're getting the bottle with the glass, then it doesn't really matter, since you're getting the full 12 ounces either way... if they're just serving you the glass, then yeah, the second option is a rip-off

Here is how you do it the german way (right way): Pour the beer slowly to not overflow the glass with foam and then gradually increase the pouring speed to get a beautiful foam crown. If you want it to be extra foamy you can pour the bottle almost empty and shake up the rest. Now you can pour the foam directly from the bottle
I'll give you a clue, from a country that knows a bit of something about drinking, what you need to do is 1) open the bottle and or can 2) get outside of brew 3) fight outside of chippy.

3 steps, a careful mainpour at a shallow angle for half the beer...
Wait 30 sec until the beer calmed down
Second step
Go to 45 degrees glass, pour in another 25%-30% beer for a prefoaming and wait until the foam settled
Let rest of the beer slowly rinse in a near standing cup.
Be left with good carbon to beerhead ratio

Here is how you do it the german way (right way):
Pour the beer slowly to not overflow the glass with foam and then gradually increase the pouring speed to get a beautiful foam crown.
If you want it to be extra foamy you can pour the bottle almost empty and shake up the rest. Now you can pour the foam directly from the bottle
But who actually likes foam tho
