Today my friend, sister and fellow gardener is sharing with us how her garden looks at the end of June. She's a big vegetable gardener but she also incorporates flowers around her veggies. Watch and laugh with us while we go through all the things that she's growing this year.

@@atempereddream thank you for the support💚💚
Good morning Ti. I am so happy I found your channel. I enjoyed the tour. Amaranth is very healthy for us. I like the grow the red leaf amaranth, 'Hopi'. Thank you for sharing your friend with us.
Yes it is. The green leaf one is a staple in Jamaican cooking. I haven’t tried the red on though. I’ll have to put in on my list for next year. Thank you!
Im happy you enjoyed
This is a beautiful garden, everything looking fantastic.. new friend here from Growing My Own.
@@growingmyown it really is and welcome friend!
Those sucker tomatoes are massive! Awesome job! I have one rooted sucker so far!
@@atempereddream yes, we’ve done the sucker ones but these are from seeds that I started and some starts from the garden center.
I'm in Atlanta Georgia. I plant callallo, basil, corn, sage, fennel, rosemary, pepper, thyme,. My neighbor is from Cambodia. They have sugar cane, fever grass, ceresse, and gully beans.
@@donovanembden8737 wow! That’s fantastic! Hope you’re having a good garden season. We’re in NJ.
@@IrieGardens thanks. My neighbor has a fully bean tree in his back yard and doesn't know how it got there. But the neighbor across the street is also Cambodian and has several trees in his backyard. So apparently the birds must have dispersed the seeds in his. Lol. It dies down in the winter, but if the winter is not severe it will come back the next year. They don't eat it much, but work with Jamaicans who buy them for $5 a pound. They must have brought the ceresse from Cambodia
@@IrieGardens gully bean
@@donovanembden8737 omg wow!! I wasn't familiar with the name gully bean so i looked it up and it's what we call susumba in Jamaica. I love it with salt fish. What's your zone? Maybe I can try growing it here
I want a friend like TI to get some of those plants..i also transplant okra that did not make it but the direct planting are doing great.
@@growingmyownhaha if only. Great time to start those okras! Good luck!
She does wonders, dont know how my garden would look without her

Love channel 🫱🙏🥰🇻🇳🇻🇳
@@Truongthikimcuong92 thank you💚
What part of the world are you? I thought you were in Jamaica but then squirrels were mentioned. I know there are no squirrels in Jamaica.
@@donovanembden8737 haha we wish! No, we’re Jamaicans but live in NJ
Does she have a garden channel on youtube?
