Welcome A.J. to BYU. The ROC is hyped.
Let's go, AJ, and let's go, Cougs! 🔥 🔥 🔥
It starts e/NIL but the real value was in BYU's new coaching staff.
It was all NIL. He was offered 3 million more than any other school. Dude is going to be making over 7 million in NIL for going to BYU
@@elokindesign LoL Kansas State was the highest bidder! It's absolutely the coaching staff! Less than a year ago BYU wouldn't be even in the picture for AJ. With Pope at the helm!
@joelpead2687 that's not true. If you read the article posted 4 hours ago on "SI" it says with BYU offering 7 MIL in NIL, Kansas State couldn't afford AJ Dybansta.
If it was all about NIL money, there are at least 30 schools that have deeper pockets than BYU.
BYU has a head coach with NBA connections that are tops in the NCAA. He coached KD, Devin Booker. Chris Paul. That was the clincher
There are very few schools who have an alumni with billionaires that own 2 pro sports teams and is also dedicated to making not only BYU but the state of Utah one of the top sports destinations in the country.
@@Raneymon AJ's father stated on air that all 4 schools offered the same amount of NIL. Money was not the deciding factor
@@DK412724 except the other school couldn't "guarantee" that amount. BYU could. It's all NIL
Welcome to BYU, AJ!
Let’s go AJ, BYU!
As a person who has been to tuscaloosa and been to provo, its any easy choice😂
Big 12 was already a tough basketball league now it gets tougher
We are so back go cougs
FWIW, the NIT was the way to pick the best college basketball team before the NCAA and their tourney.
PBYU won the NIT. In 1951, but still...
Its tine for the BYU football team to take off
Gotta do this on a regular, what you talking about Mr. Smith. We love nephew.😂
Welcome to BYBlue AJ!
AJ's going to do awesome. But with just one and done recruits I don't see BYU doing better. But hey you'll be able to say your cougar is in the NBA.
AJ DYBANTSA THE BEST NBA DRAFT PROSPECT IN HIGH SCHOOL .. OR COLLEGE ..
BYU has plenty of NIL money
Money Money BYU
College only get better players
Why wouldn't you go to a smaller school like this?
BYU is the 2nd largest private university in the USA. The Marriott Center has a capacity of 18,000+. Definitely not a small school.
@@DK41272435,000 students including my daughter.
BYU has 200 billion for NIL and temples waste the rest.
Byu? Who they got ?
@@zay222True lol they got AJ.!
Do some research, please, before commenting. They have a top 10 2026 recruiting class now. It's not just AJ.
Yeah. He will decommite and go to duke
DRIP
$$$$$
💰 💰 the only reason he chose BYU. I ain’t mad at him get that 💰 young man. He will be 1 and done anyway
Or you can listen to him and he'll tell you why. Other schools have more money. What a stupid comment
@matthewhunter6421 Ofc he's not going to say he went there for money. He's suppose to say those other things are main reason. Don't be delusional 🙄
@@Domgrove_5Kevin young is the reason. NBA coach. Other schools offered more money
LDS $ coming up big.
The LDS church doesn't put any money into BYU athletics. However, successful members of the church are known to be boosters. Utah Jazz owner Ryan Smith comes to mind right off.
Every university has major boosters these days. Every university. The coaching staff is what swung AJ’s decision.
That Mormon cash money!

Money “was definitely a requisite” to be involved in recruiting. Shouts to the religious school for going the bag boy route. Churches never run out of money 💰🏀⛪️
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints does not put a penny into the BYU athletic program. The athletic program there is totally self-sufficient and pays for itself.
