Bama fan here so I rarely have watched any Boise St games through the years, but I watched them this year because of Jeanty.. so fun to watch. Awesome talent.
@@ritz1349 Me too! Taylen did what he had to do and he is ranked a lot higher amongst QB's than he was last year, but he would have dominated all the way to the top had he stayed at BSU.
I haven't seen a more vertical runner than Adrian Peterson. Every single move this kid makes, he's churning his legs and moving upfield. You watch some players even at the NFL level who drag their feet to the 2nd level, expecting contact or getting ready to make a cut. But Jeanty will either run straight through you or right around you. Its like gaining yards is 2nd nature to him.
I knew AP was going into the nfl hall of fame when he was still playing as a Sooner. This is the best running back prospect i have seen since AP. And will be a multiple time pro bowler. But due to how the nfl lacks running games more so in aggregate compared to 10 years ago, i am not certain he will make the hall of fame due to that. If he was drafted 20 years ago i would say he too is guaranteed to make the hall of fame based on what i see from him.
This is the most elite RB talent i have seen come out in over a decade. Elite vision, break tackle/bump off tackle ability, above average speed, is both a power back and speed back, above average open field moves. Def needs to be drafted top 5 even in a league where running the ball is lesser than over 10 years ago.
@ryanyoder8686 Yep. But just having a quality offensive line at the nfl level will negate any competition questions is college people may have. His skills are his skills. They are not defined by opponents. They are inherent. I get the same exsct vibe from him i got from Adrian Peterson when i watched him in college. I have not liked a Running back since then coming out of college. And back then i said AP would 100% be a hall of famer before he even played one snap. I am now saying the same thing here. Barring an injury riddled career of course. But his per game numbers by career end will reflect it none the less.
@@foxfire1112 Perhaps. But from my personal scouting ability this is the best RB i have seen come out since Adrian Peterson. And like with how i did with AP, i am dubbing this kid as an nfl hall of famer.
His linemen were okay, not great. Not shown in this are the amount of times he'd have to break three just to get out of the backfield, and still run for 6-8 yards.
Disgusting that this kid is going to be robbed of a Heisman Trophy. He's been the best, most productive, AND most valuable player in CFB all year long, and he's done it against stacked boxes every single game. He has more YAC than any other RB has total rushing yards this season (!!). That's insane. And he's the highest graded player in the entire country -- regardless of position -- according to PFF. He's also led his team to an outstanding 12-1 record and a Playoff birth when Boise State would be .500 AT BEST without him. By every metric, he should win the award. The Heisman Committee should be ashamed of themselves if they hand that trophy to Travis Hunter over this kid. 💯
I dont think you understand that guys like saqwon Barkley and Derrick Henry had a hard time getting paid till basically this year. Running back is literally the most expendable position in football these days it seems. As unfortunate as it is, because he is a great player. But high quality offensive threat WRs and High quality dependable DBs are hard to come by and Travis is both. He played only 3 times the snaps I mean give the guy his flowers well see how both of them transfer to the NFL
If he doesn’t win the Heisman, the system is completely broken. He has about double more yards after contact then Hunter has yards total. Hunter has played zero ranked teams and has three losses against unranked teams did not lead his team to a conference championship or the playoffs. Meanwhile Ashton is playing on a team that’s arguably less talented and doesn’t have a second Heisman candidate on the team and he alone was so dominant that he carried his team to nearly undefeated against multiple top 10 rundefenses play, including the number one team were united comfortably up by a couple scores, and his special teams allowed to kick in pot returns for scores, barely losing the game
@footballwiseGuy Let’s be real Boise State don’t got a hatred bandwagon following them every game like Colorado does .
