  • In this video, I will show you how I made my own DIY smart energy meter, allowing us to see the live reading of the energy meter from remote places.
    You will learn how to take readings from a conventional energy meter using ESP8266 (Node MCU) and measure voltage and current using ZMPT101b & ZHT103. Then we will use GOOGLE FIREBASE for uploading the data to a real-time database.
    Here you will get the codes and circuit diagram: github.com/circuiTician/Embed...
    If you want the Android app contact me via my Facebook page.

    Does it have really need to use analog energy meter as you already used volt and current sensors ?
    Thanks

    • @circuiTician
      @circuiTician  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      In case of AC to measure energy you need 4 items
      Energy = voltage × current × powerfactor × time
      So the process will be little bit difficult.
      If you use a energy meter instead the energy measurement will be more accurate

    Brother, please tell this! In one circuit diagram (5:27 )depicting the ADS1115, ZHT103 & ZMPT101B connections u shown a diagram with A.C supply to current sensor, where as in the GIT HUB schematic diagram , (1&2) terminals have that C.S has no a.c supply , why?

    • @circuiTician
      @circuiTician  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Basically there is no terminal in the CT sensor.... You have to loop the wire from the middle of the CT sensor (zht 103)

    Hy Sir! how to get the same readings of Voltage, current and poer on our mobile app invertor using google firebase rather then buying the meter from market( which is too costly). kindly make a video or please guide in a reply. Thanks

    • @circuiTician
      @circuiTician  ปีที่แล้ว

      For sensing anything you need a sensor. So for measuring voltage current and power you will need some sensors.
      And it is the cheapest way of measuring all these.
      If you are from India then the meter will cost 200 rs.
