93 million miles away and you zoomed in on it so fast as if it was only 72 million miles away. Do when the sets use your zoom and find it again. You can do this multiple times until your camera runs out of zoom power. I have picture of clouds surrounding the sun and moon.

Да как бы нет. У этой камеры (оптический + цифровой зум - 125). Берём расстояние от Земли до Солнца: 149600000 делим это на 125 и получаем 1100000 с хвостиком. И если человека поместить на такое расстояние от Солнца (тут мы не будем обсуждать, сможет ли он выжить в таких условиях) и он будет в специальных очках с фильтром , то он и увидит то же самое.
P1000 is a beast, one of a kind, not even sure if its worth waiting for the next P series Nikon, if they even would release at all, might have to grab one, to get zoom like this below a G is unheard

Triangulation next time you see the sun's rays piecing out of clouds at almost 70deg angles ie v shape. You can certainly discount the b.s we're fed at school. Both angles slope towards the source defo not as far as they would like us to believe. All rays would be parallel to us if that was the case.

You should have waited till nighttime that way it would have been darker and could've gotten a better image.
