Honestly, I like this knockoff better than the one on the company site. It isn't a chronograph which isn't great, but I prefer a mechanical to a quartz movement.
There are multiple sellers (INTIME Store, Tendency Store, TACTO) with varying specs from 40-42mm case diameter, 20-24mm band length.. could it be Chinese inaccuracies as they're all identical product? Though some blue dials are more lighter than darker blue sunburst and prices range from $56-$75
The homage products are not meant to be 100 percent identical to the original product so you may find slight differences both with design and built itself. The inaccuracy you have mentioned is also probable to make watches look different

@@dianramadhan5157 As you may know, the Seagull movements have wide range of designs and complications. Some of them are even used in some well known Chinese brands. Since many of them are even clones of reputable originals such as ETA. Due to the simplicity of this movement and lack of complications which reduce the amount of moving parts, and also its cheap price, I can't find any advantage of Miyota over Seagull, although it all depends on the price difference.
Thank you for your support. The strap of the watch is rubber. So simply with a normal scissor you can cut it equally from both sides to adjust it on your wrist. The strap is already grooved. So after adjustment the pin can be placed easily in the grooves to attach it to the clasp.
This is the best regular sized one. Linbert does the best Jumbo. I have a couple of each. They're both very chunky for an homage of a watch which is less than 9mm thick, but they are very high quality. Don't buy the other brands (or sterile versions thereof) their QC is terrible. Changing/adjusting the strap is a real challenge.
Nice review. Lift Angle of the Miyota 8215 caliber is 49 degrees in stead of 52... You cannot expect much for the money, but I'll stick to a SteelDive, Escapement Time or Pagani. Way better in my opinion than this so called Specht&Sohne.... Or if you're looking for an original desgin, a Casio quartz is a good option....

This movement has an ability to be customizable like its cousin Seiko 4r36 which has NH35a version that can be found in many Homage watches especially Submariner homages like Invicta (For the same reason you can find gears and screws in this watch in different colors). As mentioned in the video, this watch is not using [Chinese] Sea-Gull movement which is used in many Chinese watches.
Following the previous message i also have to add the fact that Sea-Gul Cal. ST1612 is the copy of Miyota 8215. Due to lack of any engraving in the movement, it is very hard to differentiate them
you can write Geneva all over it but it still is cheapest us assembling and has never been near the swiss. that would be fine for me. but trying to be what you are not is a clear sign of a bad product. why else false informations? and by the way, it is spelled „Söhne“. Sohne as a word doesn’t exist. that’s how swiss this is…
It's a good looking toy. I have a few of them and wear them without worrying about it. I'd rather have an "homage" than one with a fake brand mark on it.

The size of the watch bezel is not considered as a big size. So it won't look oversized on 16-cm wrist

The model with wind down crown (not the golden case) can be used for swimming but the case is not as water proof as 200m dive watches

Yes, it is. Most of the Chinese factories are using Seagull movements.
