Wow, A very moving and powerful song about mankind's Universal Weakness. Our own Mortality. Perfect for Thanksgiving. Just remember every day you are still here in this life is a Blessing, sadly many don't understand this. We have to try to make the most of it while we still have the chance to do so. Great request Jason. Thank you.

How could anyone not love this song! A man and his guitar singing with his heart. I can’t listen to this song and not think about my parents and others that have made that trip home!!

I've always enjoyed him performing this song. I'd have to give it a 10, but in this subjective world your 9.8 is just fine. Take care...

Thank you Jason for your wonderful request. It doesn’t get much better than that. I would like to wish Don and all the participants of his channel a wonderful Thanksgiving. May you be surrounded by loving family and friends. At the very least, we all deserve that.

Thank you Jason for this request of an excellent request by Jamey Johnson. The song was written by Craig Monday & Randy Houser and released by Jamey in 2005. The song explores the concept of death and the desire for a peaceful transition into the afterlife. The song also conveys a sense of acceptance, faith, and longing for a better place beyond the sorrows of the present world. In the first verse, he acknowledges that he has seen his last tomorrow and is holding onto his last breath, indicating that death is imminent. They bid farewell to the "world of sorrow" and believe that their new life will begin with death, suggesting a belief in an afterlife or spiritual realm. The chorus emphasizes his position on a mountain and the ability to hear the angels' song, symbolizing a connection to a higher power. They are reaching over the metaphorical river "Jordon" (a play on the biblical Jordan River, often associated with crossing over into the promised land) and ask the Lord to take their hand and lead them home. This portrays a sense of trust in a divine being to guide them safely to their final destination. In the second verse, he expresses relief that all his burdens are now behind him, having said his final prayer. He then reassure his loved ones not to mourn his physical body because he believes that his true essence will not be confined to it. The repetition of the chorus in the outro reinforces his longing for divine guidance and his desire to be led home. By requesting the Lord to take his hand, he will seek comfort, assurance, and a sense of peace as they embrace the transition into the afterlife. Overall, reflects the acceptance of death and the faith in transcending the hardships of life. It conveys a profound yearning for spiritual solace, deliverance from earthly struggles, and the hope of finding a peaceful home in the afterlife. Thanks Don for your reaction

@Jason_House The posse has to make it to Zimbabwe, and not even Sheriff @JCat__ knows which Zimbabwe it is. I am free to room about the country while he roams the private jet @MontaukEd17 is funding to try to catch stellar humans like me.

Don you should start a playlist of 10’s if enough votes of 10 shows up in the comments. A RN2C family voted 10’s list separate from your 10’s list.
