I’m fascinated about his looking at queer traits and articulating them through the show’s language, Psychological wearing and telling. Some amazing flexes - rei snd Dover street - wow. Well deserved. Your curation is always on point bliss and you guided things so well. Awesome content as ever!
Love his work. Maybe it was simply a nervous mistake but nowaves from the late 60s? Hm. Doesn't take away from the work but nowave being currently so heavily recycled whilst originally existing strongly as critique of how punk ended in creating cliche and constant copy cat culture has many layers of irony. I sense more in this though an appreciation for the processes of experimentation than the outcome of imitating nowave. Not an unfamiliar story in any art or the avant-garde. As we explore and experiment ourselves what may not be new to the world can be ground breaking for new eyes. Honestly enjoy seeing its contemporary influence too

A great example of pushing fashion forward, at some point it's easy to believe that everything in fashion has been done already but each designer represents a new universe of ideas to explore and Charles's vision is rather outstanding. Great interview bliss ✨👏🏻
The Goosebump Tartan Jacket is what I imagine what it would look like if you created the inside of a kaleidoscope with a flannel button-down. I love it, so creative!
OMG the word hope is written exactly like the jacket on a building next to st parncras in ldn ! Makes me think theres a st martins connection what a slayyy :)
The goosebump jacket technique reminds me a little of Indian bandhani fabric. It’s really interesting how these techniques and textures are rediscovered and reinterpreted over time
