I’m equally as interested in who ordered this car as the car itself. It took a very unique person to drop that much money on a top of the line pony car with the most driver oriented options while having it be as unassuming as possible at the same time. I’m pretty sure the original owner would’ve liked to order the raisin bran hood instead of the shaker if it was possible on a hemi car. In essence this person wanted a 4 speed hemi cuda optioned out to look like a gran coupe.

absolutely my 1st on the list of favorite cars... I owned a customized restored 70 BB/with a 727 trans and 3:55’s that was stolen in 2016 ....I loved that beast !
That thing is ridiculously gorgeous. If I had the choice between a slightly understated one like this or one of the neon ones with all the stripes, wings and spoilers it would be a very, very, hard choice. Both please.
The most understated Hemicuda I have ever seen. Had no idea they made them like this. Would definitely be doing a double take if this thing rolled up 😀👍
Starting in 69 i worked with these in the Engine lab and a additional skills gave me manual trans rapid and accurate manipulation. Doug Mancini was from the trans lab. And we both wanted to be labeled the fastest. My honorable discharge got me the best job ever and my born in Detroit greaser mind even made me accelerate.
Just the way I would've ordered my Hemi Cuda in 1970. Only difference would be that I would've went with the steelies and dog dish caps to give it the full sleeper look. Awesome ride. It doesn't get any better than that as far as big block pony cars go although I'm more a fan of B-Body Mopar's. But I like all American muscle cars really regardless of the brand

To answer your question about the color...I’d drive this car on Monday or Tuesday and would have to have another in Plum Crazy Purple for the weekend. Overall, it would be hard to dislike any 70 ‘cuda, regardless of the color. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful Cuda! I ordered a blue '70 Cuda in 1970 with a 440. My neighbor bought a Cuda in the same color blue. Needless to say I cancelled my order and bought a '70 Challenger T/A 340 sixpak! I Love that car.
I noticed the front drivers wheel is severely off camber? Looks as if the tire is canted inward at the top?? Hemi parts are expensive but that’s a safety issue.
@preludeF20Bking- pretty easy for a modern muscle car to run these down in the quarter but I guarantee you'll never forget sitting in one of these launched in full anger. Nothing like an original elephant motor.
If Kowalski had a cousin that would probably be his Mopar of choice to equalize the bennies owned to Jake! Yet Cousin Ski gets the upgraded Hemi with 90 day warranty lol not the 440 like stuffed in the Dodge. Maybe "Vanishing Choice" as he lives with his choice. Must admit that I’m usually not fussed about vinyl tops on E Bodies. To my eye they draw an unnecessary break line between the roof and the body which interrupts the graceful flow of the lines. But in this case I could almost make an exception!
Mac10 Daddy it’s either a 3:54, or 4:10. Track pack vs Super track pack. 3:54 was better for the street. I had an original 440-6 Cuda with the 4 speed/Dana. It came with 3:54, and I changed it to 4:10. The 440-6 was better performing on the street, but nothing beat the Hemi when you opened the hood, and in value.
Mopar Everyday and Everywhere.. closest color I've seen to my 68 Dodge Dart.. original owner painted white.. but this lite green in the under side of the trunk
I like the mellow looking hot rod. Cops won't follow you around waiting for you to stomp the gas. Cops followed me everywhere in my Mach 1 Grabber Yellow with 351 painted on the hood.
Does it look like the right fender and door had paint work? Seems like some dark/mismatched spots. Can’t imagine on a car of that color but that color would be a bear to match blend! Love the color though.
