Hi! Thank you for sharing your video and skills with us. I’m a first-timer with calligraphy. What kind of ink do you use to refill your Tombow pens? Thank you in advance for your help.
Thank you so much...veey nice and useful video..just one querry...if we use fountain pen inks (which are normally not waterproof) to refill these pens, will it not create problem as original ink is waterproof? ...I mean there will be mixing of waterproof and non waterproof inks in cartridge inside the pen after refill.
Loved the video❤ Wanted to ask if we can practice the doms brush pen and tombow fudenosuke brush pen on normal a4 size paper. I have never seen the jk cedar paper and its smoothness so will the pens be damaged if practiced on normal a4 size paper?
Thanks for going through the video. Yes, at first they seem expensive. But like I explained, they are artist-quality, long-lasting, and have great brush tips. This makes them the best brush pens for beginners. So, definitely worth the buy :)
Yes..even I want to know about papers used and from where we can buy grid line papers as I am unable to find it. Would really appreciate if you can help with that. And thank you very much for creating such amazing stuff❣
@@shwetabakhshi5553 For gridline papers, I take a print out of a graph/grid (easily available on the internet) on JK Cedar printing paper and get it spiral-bound. Saves a lot of money and time. Thanks for appreciating the video :)

hello! I found your channel recently and I find your videos very helpful; thank you very much for such detailed videos!! I had one question though; could you suggest some practice sheets for Tombow Fude? And some heavyweight paper which can be used to print them too. I hope to hear from you soon, Thank you!!
Hi Arshia. Thanks for watching the videos. I'm glad you find them helpful. I do not have practice sheets for Tombow Fude yet. I'll suggest you google. I'm sure you'll find some practice sheets. Also, you can use JK Cedar printing paper to practice. It's 100 gsm and smooth. Hope it helps :)
Brush pens are going to fray eventually. The rule of thumb is to use smooth paper to increase the life of the brush pen. For practice, I use JK Cedar printing paper (also mentioned in the video and description)

Yes, if you have Tombow, you can get started with them. Tombow's are artist-quality brush pens and that's why beginners find them expensive. So, I recommend Add Gel. But if you have tombows, they are really good pens to get started.
Why not buy both? Both are good for beginners in their own way. Add Gel brush pens have longer tips and you get 12 colours for around 160/- But, they are student-grade and fray faster. You'll have to re-purchase them sooner. Tombow fudenosuke brush pens have smaller tips and you get one for around 120/- But, they are artist-grade and last longer. Make your choice.

I would suggest for color try pental fudes they are much better and more pigmented …i am regretting buying the tombow colored set
