You had to be at the ground to watch him kick. Tv does no justice to how beautiful his kicking for goal was. He also had a great presents on the ground. He was a super star footballer.
Regarding Royce's book - I'm sorry, but if you're asked to pick a team of the players you'd most like to play with, you have to pick yourself to be in it, don't you??

Royce Hart is a legend and it has nothing to do with the AFL recognising him as such. He is the quintessential Aussie bloke. Wonderful interview.
I actually was taking photos of the S A v Victoria match in 1972 I think at Adelaide Oval and I got a shot of him taking a specky but he actually dropped it. There is another photo of it.
