You bought me to tears with your honesty.
Best of luck in the future.

So Proud of you Wal. I'm sure I speak for many of your old team mates. Wish we knew. Wish we had supported you. So much to be learned about mental health issues and how to help friends when they are most in need.

That was an extremely tough watch, especially after experiencing this type of addiction

Those faces Mark made as he was on the verge of tears broke my heart. It's great that he was able to overcome so much and stay clean.

Takes absolute courage to come back from the precipice like that to re-start a life. Well done Mark. The people around you helped you not out of pity but because you are a good person who temporarily lost his way. Diesel Williams’ wife geez what an angel she must be.

Good on him, not too many people pull themselves up from the brink. I went to school at Strathmore High with him. Unbelievable footballer.

Scraping the bottom of the barrel. Met him down in Hobart in 2015 at the Salamanca markets at a local cafe. Tried to cut the line in front of me. Total flog.

I hope you're doing well, Mark. Really gutsy to talk openly about your issues. Stay strong. All the best.

What a remarkable man! This has made me think that my ‘relaxing drinking HABIT” maybe more than that. Someone needs to bring “Eusto” to the front and make him become the voice of the AFL’s MOST IGNORED AND MOST RAMPANT ISSUE!!!!

Great stuff Mark! You underestimate your strength and courage. Plenty of blokes have played league footy, hardly any have fought the battle you continue to fight. It's both fascinating and sad that these people are so down on themselves while people like me look at them with admiration and awe for not giving up.
