Elderberry has been placed in Adoxaceae with Viburnums, same order as Caprifoliaceae though.

i have boreal blizzard, aurora, nimfa, vostorg, jugana and honeysuckle varieties and they taste ok i guess.. the main problem i have with them, is that even if they turn blue, they still arent fully ripe yet.

This is one of the few fruits you can cultivate in a subarctic climate, up to the arctic treeline.
