The final clip really signifies what iracing is for me, it can be so incredible at times, and this can happen at any time, every single hour of the day, in many different types of cars
And gives those of us struggling to race well in the sim something to strive for one day, absolutely incredible.

Except that he went wide into the red and "won" with a time penalty. Great driving otherwise.

Nr1 is a perfect example why It’s difficult to enjoy IMSA as a GT3 driver :D

All great clips but the last one is just amazing, super quick and accurate decision making and car positioning, if I tried that I would have just plowed into somebody.
10. Was incredible driving by all three. Taking the arca cars 3 wide at Bristol and everyone holding there line was amazing on all three drivers! Solid racing!

Running LMP2 like the last clip is a really good way to lose it all on the last lap. Respect to all involved that didn’t end in a wreck.
That driving by the P2 in the last clip is insane.
That last clip had some incredible driving.
Those moves at #1 were insane !!
Amazing racing and amazing battles! Cheers to all this drivers, to make those battles possible everyone involved has to be strong, fast and respectful!

Absolutely amazing, I need on of these videos every week 😅
Here's how the #1 clip would go for 99.9% of players:
Go wide around purple, purple sees and goes even wider on purpose and spins you for a 4x, your car then slide sideways right hits red/blue for another 4x, slide off track for a 2x, purple loses control hits your car again for another 4x.
Green car finishes unscathed for P1

You get 1x off track, but no slow down, you can even run on the white area without triggering a slowdown as long as you don't put all four wheels there

How did the LMP2 in the last clip not get a slowdown?
Needs to get further out into the white for the slowdown. That’s only a 1x
@@JEvans14 So driving on the red bit is considered fair game in iRacing? Penalties are usually issued by driving outside the kerbs limit. It seems like the yellow car got a much better corner exit due to taking that line.
@@ArchbardWava if you get more than half of the car out into the red it’s a 1x for off track, but you need to get to the white for a slowdown. So I guess it depends on how you feel about 1x’s. As long as you aren’t doing it repeatedly it’s not going to be an issue. Certain tracks like Hockenheim I go into knowing there’s a good chance I’ll need to take a 1x to avoid some lap 1 mayhem. As long as your safety rating can handle it, that’s fine.

I dont approve of number 1. Its a slap bang slow down penalty for going that wide there. And if it wasn't, it's gaining an advantage off track so in the most prestigious leagues, you'd get a time pen after the race lol
They were fighting through traffic, I'd give him a pass
@@themagicslinky1773 still cant really. the car on the inside used that traffic as a pick so to speak and the guy on the outside said "screw you, your move is invalid, im leaving the track".

This game looks amazing for multiplayer, but as a casual sim racer, it would almost be more economical just to buy a PS4 and play Grand Turismo sport.
Yeah, let's put at #1 a battle that involves moving out of track, rejoining mid-fight of other class and pushing cars of other class out of trajectory. Definitely what iRacing's typical driving is.

As long as you’re not cutting the course (which would give you a time penalty anyway) who cares? You race as hard as you can and sometimes that means using all of the available road when required
@@StuartVaughan47 going wide before the last corner increases the corner’s radius so you can carry more speed, which means gain a significant advantage on the straight, so IMO it should be penalized.
