I didn't even know Solari but what I can say as a racer is that knowing he brought together the racing community giving him his farewell's makes me happy, and this just teaches you that racing isn't about being fast, or even what position you make, but it's about the people you race with and the sheer sportsmanship you have for them, Rest in Peace Solari....
When people tell you that racing games with AI drivers is the same as iRacing, show them this. Show them this..... because iRacing is real racing. It is not just a game, it is not just about lap times or iRatings.... it is racing with other people. Sharing the love for racing and being together. This can only be done in iRacing.
Having watched the iRacing Daytona 24 hour live broadcast, I was disappointed at the lack of silence during the race ending memorial lap. The number #1 highlight in this video was a much more appropriate tribute. Rest In Peace.
#1 brought tears and choked me up. This is why I love this hobby and iRacing. So much respect! #6 was just insane and good thing none of the slower cars flinched lol
Have to admit, that having been lead to believe my video would be in, I was not only disappointed to see it wasn't, but also to see more of the same oval close finishes getting in instead 😕
